What is Bigg Boss concept?

I thought bigg boss was originally created on concept how people from diverse background and varying personalities adjust together in an isolated environment. A mentally strong person with better resilience and ability to cope under stress without degrading self and others and he who comes out as a better human deserves to win the show. Over the years, viewers demand for spicy content and TRP completely changed the original concept. Now contestants who are not willing to adjust and constantly picks up fights are considered as strong contestants 🤢

Am the only person here who thinks that way?

I don't think concept matters anyway bc in the end it all depends upon how people are going to vote

In Hippo's experience over the years following things can get u vote among desis

1- Victim/Underdog

2- Masoom/Bhola/Pappu/Seedha/Gaaye

3- Handsome/Good looking/Hot body/ Sexy siren

4- Punjabi/Gujrati etc i.e. ethnicity

5- Background in industry

6- Favor from channel so more highlights

7- Eccentric personality

8- Funny and non-despo

9- Honesty

10- Please fill in this blank

So whatever BB want to see it does not matter...since system of selecting winner is based on votes.

I however believe that 50 per is vote and 50 per is establishment i.e. channel endemol etc

Exactly opposite to the original concept of Big Brother from which it is adapted...now the BB concept is to provide a platform to promote movies bring in loosers and direct a Balaji daily (soap )drama.

I think upto season 3 the format was being followed pretty well. After that, it all started. Too much interference. Aap ache nahi dikh rahe blah blah..

I still remeber how bhaktiyar took the money n came out n amitabh asked him.. y did u quit. U used 2 get maximum votes. Since he had no contacts from outside, and pepl inside used to make him feel he was not popular, they managed 2 brainwash him n kick him out.

Even in season 1, ravi kishen used 2 live in lalala land thinking he will win before he got a reality check at the finale..

I think its not gonna go back to actual format. Coz most pepl will start criticizing that the host is not doing a good job if he or she does not grill the contestants. Its doomed. Unless it gets a big long break for several years. I dont see that happening.

season after season the diversity of the contestants is changing...only people from show biz are considered as contestants ...infact this season has more number of people from tv and cinema than any other season...they have to bring up their game next season or else m sure it will be over for everyone...
