Can anyone please tell me what Salman was trying to imply by giving examples of different types of movie certification? I did not get the point he was trying to make. Also was it pointed to Mandana or Imam?

It was cryptic, wasn't it - I couldn't tell really whether he was taking a dig at Mandy, or pointing out that if the censor board is releasing a film with whatever certificate, Imam should not be speaking on it's content. Because Imam's dig was definitely towards the audience of the film - he said "agar KKHH jaisi film bhi chal jaati hain", or something. Sorry can't be of more help - Salman often confuses himself too 😆.

In any case, I don't agree with an actor being bashed for his/her choice of work. If a production house is making a film, it's because their homework indicates that they have a probable audience for it, and each to their own.

He was trying to take a dog on Mandy. He wanted to oppose this type of films but couldn't do it because he did not want to come in bad image. Also, he is very protective towards bollywood movies and stars, so chose to keep quiet, and not,to upset fans and ofcourse producers.

He meant to say that different movies got different types of certificates and its viewers choice that what kind a movie they wanna watch or not. If some movie is not a family movie then it never means that it should not be made at all as it has its own viewership.

If people had problem with a specific genre...then they can clearly avoid it by boycotting such kind of movies...no need to go moral policing on people who are working hard to earn money
i mean didn't Grand Masti prove to be successful...ofcourse people will make such movies again...
and Salman was clearly implying that such movies shoudn't be made...but he can't do anything about it

Imam was talking about the content of movies and that certain movies are opposite to what Indian culture says. And these movies result in making stuff like Kya kool hai hum types. Salman was taking a dig at Mandy's adult work- Kya kool is adult comedy and will get A certficate hence she should not be screaming or shouting about it. He added that it might be XXX certificate thereby mocking her more.
