Chapter 12.1
Siddharth's Room
"Has someone ever told you, you look irresistible when you are wet?" he said in between his kisses on her jaw.
"You just got included among one of them." She chuckled.
"Them huh? I cannot wait to see your list!" he brushes his nose against hers.
"You are so intrigued.. makes me wonder how many girls are there in yours!" she laughed pulling his cheeks.
His body stiffens for a moment, and the playfulness in his eyes disappears.
"Uh oh. I do not like that look." She whispered staring in his eyes.
Her voice brings him back to the present and he teases, "What look?" raising an eyebrow.
"The one that you are hiding." She played with her fingers on his hair.
"What I was hiding, is my desire to kiss you right now.." he mumbled and leans to kiss her.
"You're cheating" she smiled in between the kiss.
"You are not stopping me" he pecked her on the lips again, widening her smile which reached up to the either side of her ears.
A knock on the door broke their midnight desires, and Siddharth calls out, "Who is it?"
"It's me you idiot. Open the door right now, mom is getting agitated! She can come upstairs anytime soon! Unless you want her to know about you two!" she whispered angrily through the door.
"No no.. wait I am opening up.." he called out nervously and gets up from the floor. He gives a hand to Roshni and makes her stand up straight,
"Are you afraid of your mom?" she chortled.
"Oh really! Let's go and tell your mom then about us!" he countered.
"Umm... Never. I got your point." she stammered making him laugh at her this time.
"I don't want you to go.." he said with longing persistent in his voice while he walked up to the door.
"Neither do I...But.." she walks up to him and whispers in his ears,
"We will meet soon tomorrow and continue from where we left off.. and don't believe a word I shout next" she kissed his cheeks and unlocks the door herself.
She winks at him and opens the door letting Kritika in as she herself went out followed by a confused Siddharth.
"You're an Asshole, Shorty! I can't believe you would do something like that! I hate you!" she stamps on his foot before she ran down the stairs and out of his house.
Kritika and Siddharth were left dumbfound. Simran comes upstairs and says, "What was all that about, Sid? Were you guys fighting again?"
"I donno.. you know her! She is a psycho." He rolls his eyes and shuts his door with a grin on his face. Simran goes back to her room sighing, "They will never grow up!"
As he took a step towards his bed, he realized the pain in his foot and cries out, "Ouch!" he hops to the bed and sits on it. Just at that moment his phone buzzes and he receives a message from her, "Goodnight, Bunny Dreams."
He smiles and whispers, "Pagal Ladki"
"Who me?" asked Kritika coming inside his room from the balcony.
"What are you doing in my room? When did you get in?" he asked in an astonished voice.
"When you were busy thinking about her" she teased.
"You are like a ninja!" he laughed.
"So, are you gonna tell me what happened or?" she started.
"Well we kissed and made up." He shrugged his shoulders as if it was nothing big.
"Oh ho.. that's nice! Did you tell her you love her?" she asked enthusiastically as she sat beside him.
"Not only that, but she also told me that she loved me! Now isn't that great?" he grinned like a kid waiting to be appreciated.
"Way to go baby bro!" she pats him on his shoulder.
"I can't believe that it just happened it feels so surreal!" he laid on the bed staring at the ceiling.
"It's so good to see you in love once again, bro!" sighed Kritika.
The smile on his face disappears as soon as she said it and he gets up to leave the place.
Kritika holds him back and continues, "I know you don't want to talk about it and I personally don't want to open up your old wounds but bro I think before you two get serious, you should tell her about her."
"I know what I am doing Kitty. I will tell her soon. I just... just want to take one step at a time!" he whispered back.
"Unlike last time." she mumbled.
He looks up at her, "Unlike last time. I just hope my past doesn't affect my future with Bunny."
"I am sure it won't! Now take a chill pill and let's catch up on some movies, just like old times!" she said cheering him up.
"Why don't you select the movie and I'll get the popcorn!" he smirked.
"Did you guys just plan to watch a movie without me?" asked Yash as he entered the room.
"Aww how can we forget you! Now go get some food and drinks from the kitchen if you wanna join us!" Siddharth pushes him out of the room while Kritika giggles and gives a high five to him.
Patel House
She enters her house silently and tip toes upstairs to her room, when Sam catches hold of her hands.
"Where were you? Do you know what time it is?" she asked with her hands on her hips.
"Uh.. Di...I was just out with friends.." Roshni stammered nervously.
"Don't lie to me. I can tell when you are lying. And you are lying to me a lot since you have come here." Sam said looking straight in her eyes.
"Well, Ok. I was out...with a guy...on a date." sighed Roshni while she went inside the kitchen.
"Date? Who is the guy?" asked Sam following her inside.
"Just some guy, it was just a one time thing Di, not to worry." Roshni shoved off the topic.
"Why are you smelling like chlorine and are you wet? Did he push you in a pool?" Sam's temper rose.
"What? No! I actually fell on the pool, he was a nice guy. He pulled me out and all, I just called it a night after that... there is nothing to worry, I can take care of myself" assured Roshni.
"Yeah I know, I was just...next time you go out I want to know from before. Do you understand me?" said Sam authoritatively.
"I am not a child. I know you are concerned, but I live alone in Paris, remember? I think you should go get some sleep.." said an annoyed Roshni.
"I was serious, Rosh."
"So am I. Goodnight, Di." She runs upstairs to her room.
Next Day : Khurana House
"Good morning dad!" he hugged him and sat on his chair cheerfully.
"You are in a good mood" his dad examined him.
"Off course, I went for a jog with my dad after a long time" he smiled and sips on his juice.
"Yeah it was a good run! Are you going out somewhere?" Raj looked at him skeptically.
"Yes,I need to make arrangements for Yash's bachelor party" he winked at him.
"Ohh, so who all are invited?"
"Just some friends, colleagues and Rohit, you remember him don't you?"
"Yes I do, but doesn't he get to be included in your friends?" pointed out Raj to him.
"Huh? Yeah I was just.." his phone buzzes and he picks it up.
"Look, speak of the devil.." he laughs and points on the screen which showed, "Rohit"
He gets up from the table and walks up to the window,
"Hey dude, what's up?"
The entire time he was on the phone, Mr.Khurana kept a keen eye on his son. He was observing each and every movement of his son. After 5 minutes, Siddharth walks back to the dining table still talking over the phone,
"Dudddeee!! That's awesome! If you were in front of me I would have kissed you right now! Chal cya then! Bye, Love you brother!" he cuts the call and sits down.
Raj coughs and spills his juice on the table in shock.
"Dad, are you alright?" asked a concerned Sid.
"I am, are you?" he raised his brow giving a disapproval look to his son.
"What?" he whispered in confusion.
"I have work to do." said Raj finishing the conversation as he left the room.
"Old age is catching up with him" Siddharth rolled his eyes.
His phone buzzes and he picks it up immediately seeing the caller ID,
"Hi. Good Morning." he grinned.
"Morning toh good tab hoga when you are with me" she giggled.
"Really. Toh deri kis baat ki, morning ko good jaldi bana lete hai." he gets up from the chair and takes his keys from the counter.
"I am waiting for you in the tree house. Yaad hai?" she asked playfully.
"Off course, how can I ever forget that." he smiled while wearing his shoes.
"Let's make some new memories here then" she said coyly.
"Uh huh... you are becoming naughtier day by day..." he runs out of his house towards his car in a hurry.
"Shorty, I think I spilled a drink on me, are you coming to help me?" she teased him.
"Do not move. I will take care of it." he replied back instantly before he cuts the call.
