Why cvs never explored Shambu character?

The show has a very talented cast, we've discussed about this aspect quite a lot. But what about the silent characters like Shambu? In fact when they showed Viplav remembering his father, they had only one FB in which he asks if he can accompany him to the airport? This was the only moment when Shambu and Viplav had some father and son kinda convo. Viplav expressed it well, he never spent much time for his father and to tell him things he should have told. We have seen lot of scenes of a Viplav and his equation with DT, Dadi, Kanak, even Shalu. Only Shambu's was less, and without exploring much his character had ended too.

Actually coming to think of it, a son's relationship with his father is mostly like this once they attain a certain age. They tend to develop a gap between their fathers. But with Shambu they should've showed some scenes, I think! Sometimes i get a feeling that Viplav gets carried away way too much in things he's currently involved..! Just my opinion.! 😊

Nice post Sudha. Yeah in real life also I see mostly father and son interacting less. So I feel cvs should have explored father and son relation. I expected one track from cvs to build relation b/w Viplav and shambu but they ended this character unexpectedly.

When they hired this actor I am sure they had chalked a role for him too as to what his contribution will be . He was maimed so I guess the cvs had a plot in mind but unfortunetly it was never explored.

When do the creators ever stick to their plan A. Because of trps and popularity of some characters others are missed. The actor must have understood this and rightly so found another job . It makes sense to do that.

Even Shallu does not have a very good character sketch when SUV and RL have .

Shambhu just did not have direct scenes with anyone which was sad. Anyways his exit made an impact so that is good.

Really they should have showed some scenes of shambu and Viplav..though at this stage boys are distanced from their dad they have a strong bond always as even in the form of fights😳😳
Atleast as a flashback scene they could have showed scenes between Viplav and Shambu😳😳

Thanks dear 😊 That's what I felt, they should've some petty fights that will happen in any house, or at least showed some FBs of child Viplav and Shambu. Cvs clearly failed to show some connect in this relationship, if not for the actor like Mishal, the impact which has been made wouldn't have been possible at all. Thank for your warm reply, guru! 😳

Thanks Sura! If a track or at the most an incident which was dedicated to show Viplav's equation with his father, it'd have been better. Afraid if this drastic twist is to pull back some TRPs...! 😕

Sadly the show is ruled by ratings. Only those characters and tracks are explored that fetch high ratings. Characters come and go leaving several questions unanswered.
I watch the show with a closed mind.

Nice post dear..totally agree wid u..Cvs could have shown Shambus nd viplavs bonding more as father nd son..frm d beginning of d shw to till now v didnt even get a proper convo of both..ya at some age there is some gap btw father nd son bt cvs could shw friendly relation of both as viplav is funloving guy..bt y cvs missed it?? i thought Cvs can explore their relation later bt they ended his character unexpectedly..feeling bad for shambus character1

Hi Rose. It's indeed a very unhealthy aspect about our Indian soaps. TRPs decide the story and not the cvs. Story is made to grab more attention than to bring about some change in the society. Even this show which boasts itself as a widow remarriage theme goes on showing some utter nonsense TP and Dhani's forced wedding. unfortunately that track ideas brought some high numbers. Many, many questions are unanswered yet, in fact in this 5 to 6 months Dhani's past isn't yet been divulged.

I always love to explore Shambu's sketch since it looks tough, sensitive and complicated ..He need to keep his neck bend for an hours, and I have watched Nishant's previous works were he nailed in his concerned part very well..Actually I had a soft corner and sympathized when it comes to his role..Initially I expected more from writers and excited to explore his layer more ..Unfortunately CV's never gave a chance to work do...I wish to see so many scenes like beautiful bonding, friendly interactions b/w father and son...Because whenever I am watching VIP with Dhadhi, I used to expect the same thing from VIP with his father..Like why can't I have a VIP scene with Shambu..Don't know some where I am emotionally connected to his character without much answers..I really felt very bad that they ended up abruptly by not justifying his character..Terribly sad.! 😔
