Filmfare pays a heavy price to replace Shah Rukh Khan with Salman Khan as host

Salman Khan has agreed to host the Filmfare Awards

Here's a first. Salman Khan has agreed to host the Filmfare Awards -- formerly Shah Rukh Khan's territory - this year. It is learnt that Salman is being paid 2.5 crore for two hours in lieu of his services.

A source in the know informs, "The anchoring of the awards functions has become tedious to do and watch. How many combinations can one watch Kapil Sharma and Manish Paul in? Salman Khan is a masterstroke. He is popular andBigg Boss shows what a fabulous host he is."

Sources say it wasn't easy to get Salman Khan to host an awards show. "He was pursued relentlessly and the pay-cheque was very fat, close to 2.5 crores," mumbles the source. That's more than 1 crore per hour. Not bad!

Excited to see how Salman hosts the show. Smart move by Filmfare to grab the eyeballs.

Salman will be up to his usual antics and will roast all and sundry with his taunts, Bollywood will have to be prepared to be bullied😆

He got replaced simply. Maybe Coz SRK was playing all moody after Dilwale's underperformance but thank god it's not SRK and Kapil. SRK takes dig at everyone's films but his own

i think you didnt watch filmfare when ra one came out.
SRK has made fun of his films more than he has any other

if you wanna say something bad about him atleast find some legitimate reason. 😆

Even recently at stardust awards he took a dig at HNY telling Farah Khan that if you had written some good dialogues for HNY then it would have worked and earned more 😆

dang.. i wanted to see srk ridiculing one and all😆 kher.. another one that i am going to miss.. i only watch filmfare whe srk hosts it.. i personally dont like salman hosting award shows.. i watched big star entertainment one and found it to be terrible but oh well..

and lol at srk 0odes not make fun of his own movies.. he is the only one who makes fun of his own movies, something that salman can never do.. but before salman fans pounce on me,, i am not jealous or frustrated😆, just giving an opinion
