since many have issues with tanu being one dimensional and kangana doesn't attend awards anyway combined with deepika's much acclaimed performance in box office hit, piku.

Do you think this year's black lady is again in deepika's hands after 2013?

P.S: i root for kangana in TWMR but the above is what is popular opinion not mine

I hope so because I liked everything about Piku the film and most importantly Piku's character and the way it was played by Deepika...

But Datto is big competition and TWMR did more business than Piku so may be most people in real world are rooting for it too (like in IF) so chance is there Kangy winning it as well.

So I hope but I dont know 😛

Yes ! I loved loved Deepika in Piku. She was extraordinary in the film and managed to hold her own against Irrfan and AB. Great stuff.😃

Kangana was brilliant as Datto but IMO her Tanu was bit too overdone and simply boring.🥱

Not a fan of the film either.

And thats why I feel DP deserves it more than Kangana.

DP will surely win for Piku. Funnily enough Kangana deserves it more this year for TWMR as compared to her performance in Queen but she has no chance this year.

Deepika will get the filmfare but does she deserve it for Piku over Kangana in TWMR? Piku was a nice movie and Dippy done a good job but Kanganas role was more challenging than Deepikas so Kangana would deserve it more but since both characters are loved by the audiences so it doesnt matter who will win it at the end. I actually would love to give it to PC
