Indra the title and not the name

We know that Indra is merely the title of the position and not the name of the person. Now after revisiting Ahalya story, I have a doubt regarding the shrap of Indra. Gautham Rishi cursed Indra but was the person held the position was changed immediately. I read about the translated version of manusmriti, but still not sure of those time durations.

Indra was cursed too. He couldnt appear before others. This caused much concern to all the Devas, as his multifarious duties in various worlds remained suspended, and they went as one to seek Brahmaji's help. Brhmaji suggested severe penance for Indra. He then received grace of Lord Shiva.
Our Puranas are full of stories of Indra's insecurity, when someone performs severe penance. He trys to break the penance. Then begins another cycle of events.
One instance when Indra was removed was due to Brhma hatya's sin. Nahush was made Devraj. He too lusted for Shachi & got cursed. Indra then after performing penance got free from sin of Brhma hatya & returned to his throne.

Indra & other Devas were children of Dev-mata Aditi.

I didn't watch mahadev serial. Is Lord Shiv has a daughter? Can u elaborate it

She selected nahush as her would be husband .

Once a demon kidnapped Ashok sundri ( shivji's daughter )with the purpose to marry her she cursed him that her would be husband will kill that demon

Indra not being a person but title of a position ?????? What's meant by that ? Sorry for being ignorant but I really have no clue about these mythological things.

Oh I didn't know this, I thought Indra is the name of the person and Devraj is the title...
