In this era of Botox, liposuction, nose jobs, lip jobs, tummy tucks and face lifts what are your views on cosmetic intervention?

1) Is it right to interfere with nature? if yes is it permissible only for people who have careers in the glamour world or for anyone with a low self esteem for his or her looks!

3) How far is too far...or you ok with dental whitening but against something like a liposuction or a nose job?

4) If given a chance to go under the scalpel of the best cosmetic surgeon for free and guaranteed results would you veture into the painful world of makeovers...and what would you change?😃

its not right - not even for those relating to glanour world as in my opinion glamour is all about seduction n provoking element and cause of all ills like rapes in the society..

dental whitening is different from cosmetic liposuction - teeth are not something a person has from birth - these are something that are lost n gain during the course of time😆 😳 so yellowish teeth can be there because of unhealthy or unnourishing food the person intakes or mainly bcoz of not-so-pure water the person intakes and liposuction you can think of as something you are changing/modifying which you have from time of your birth ...

and I support those ppl's attempt who faced some kinda accidents in their lives - it is naturally reasonable to rethink about getting back to their ownselves after the distortion due to some unlucky incidents

4) If given a chance to go under the scalpel of the best cosmetic surgeon for free and guaranteed results would you veture into the painful world of makeovers...and what would you change?😃

na baba na... I believe ppl shud be happy and stand by how they look as everyone/thing cannot be beautiful - it degrades the uniqueness from the universe😳

Being in thailand I do ask this question...... because already the women men ratio is odd to women side..... and the gap is wide too..... and over and above that.... there are male thais who do surgery for sex change...... so "How far is too far" 😆

well some awkward shape of body part is not nature, yeah its genes of the person or may be some accident in pregnancy or premature delivery.... its completely alright for cosmetic surgery to do this touch ups... but i would nt buy a sex change surgery... however we dont know the mindset of people who go through it so would not be able to say anything on that....

If this things are natural then twins attached to each other is also natural is not it???? why do we have surgery to separate them.... so i think its perfectly alright... anything to look good 😉 😆

It is upto us how we want to take care of our body. By doing excercise and diet control we want to be fit then why not cosmetic surgery too. It is totally on an individual. if they can afford it, then go for it. no harm in looking and feeling Good 😛

Its good to face the truth.. .coloring the hair while having wrinkles on the face and straightening the wrinkles while having weak joints back pain etc.. doesnt make one appear either young or beautiful... But blending with the age, exercising, keeping in shape, most importantly smiling and being happy is the real cosmetic one needs in life.... 😊 Smiling is the best cosmetic.

Just for the sake of argument, we're not born with all the fats in our body and it's mainly because of unhealthy food the person intakes, so by your own reasoning liposuction and tummy tucks are perfectly ok.😛 As for botox it's just another medicine and if you're not against medicines then botox also is good.😛

again for the sake of argument.... fats are not mandatory parts of any human body - whereas the transformation that takes place when it comes to teeth is natural and every child has to undergo that process - so for this purpose there can be accidental injuries/damages and hence imho it is fine to give it a finishing - not like one is consuming kilos of food and undergoing a plastic surgery to look slim n trim😛

But you know how hard it must be to smile with paralysed facial muscles after Botox treatments.😃

Qwerts nice points. as they say smiling is contagious. Happy people exude confident cheer and real beauty.😛

Some people fret and frown allt he times..no costemic or costemic surgeory helps them😆

Agree with both of you....smile gives lot of glow and beauty..one can smile whole heartedly when one is fine .....

However one need to develop some activites according to the age.....to keep them fit and healthy..instead of going to these artificial operations..surgeries

instead of spending much time near computers
