@leo the question we need to ask is, will we salute an IPS officer whose family members are hoarding limelight day in day out for criminal activities and she does nothing about it.
It is said that I should not be comparing. But cant help comparing with the Malayalam version of DABH which has much more sense and respects law and presents the plight of an IPS officer. CVs should learn something from the Malayalam version and make some changes here. There is no harm taking good things from a remake also.
The point I am trying to make is I could connect so well with Deepthi, her pain, her conflicts, but unfortunately cannot connect with Sandhya. It has to be the problem of the script and nothing else.
Bhabo having no remorse is unbelievable in a mother. Mohit was her child. Yes she had to kill him for a specific reason. But wont the maternal instinct cry, feel sad that she has to do it. It is a natural emotional right. Absence of that makes something seriously wrong with the character as a mother itself

@ Shruthi, the CVs of the remakes will learn from the mistakes of the original. And DABH being the original, they (CVs) can't adopt to the remade version of their own creation. You may be right about Malayalam version but when it came to Kannada version, though all my friends and family connected so well it, I could not as I was attached to DABH. Certain stories are modified in accordance with the nativity of that language and hence it may not be right to compare them. Many of my friends loved the movie HOLIDAY starred by Akshay Kumar but I could not come out of the spell of Soldier done by Vijay. So is the case of Pokari (wanted) and Dhrushyam.
And coming to Bhabo, she has no time for grieving at the moment as she has to get done with Llima's wedding. May be after that we may see her grieving for Mohit silently and alone. Same is the case with all the RP as they have to concentrate on wedding than sitting and analyzing on Mohit case.

@jaya I am just asking the CVs to look at Malayalam version and atleast for the coming tracks try to strike a better balance between IPS officer Sandhya and Sandhya the bahu and wife.
In every track DABH CVs do hot potch on the role. In one track it is completely IPS, then next completely bahu. They have got enough criticism on this front. They can look at how the CVs are bringing balancing act in another version and try to incorporate certain changes to the script, that's it. If they really want they can do it, even now.
See I could never connect with Malayalam DABH pre-IPS, because of DABH. But post IPS, DABH CVs didn't know how to handle the role of IPS officer, whereas Malayalam CVs have met the expectations of how to portray an IPS officer, so better connected to it. There is something called character consistency which I guess no script writer can miss. DABH played with this character consistency whereas the Malyalam version had just stuck to character consistency. DABH can still bring back the character consistency is all I am saying. Don't butcher Sooraj or Sandhya anymore.
And remakes yes they never match the original in most occasions. I agree to your case of Thuppaki. Drishyam and then of course the classic Manichitrathazhu. Then Alaipayuthe. List is endless.
It is just a suggestion on my side to CVs to bring character consistency back.
