The Lady In Black-A Praja TS- Ramya and Mahishee Collab Complete Pg 6!

She looked at me through the corner of her eye and long hair still covered her face as she said.

Lady:It seems you are in need of serious help.

I intended on explaining everything to her but before i could go on, she continued.
Lady: Please get into the car.

And the very next moment, i found myself obeying her command as if under a magic spell ,as i got into the car with her. It seemed as if i had no control over my senses. I could not utter a single word from my tongue which suddenly seemed more of hers than my own ,although all types of questions kept pouring in my mind.And she slowly started the car and drove to an unknown destination, which i didn't bother to even ask about.
None of us spoke anything.

Very soon, the path began to turn lonely and deserted. It was as if the fog and mist had encompassed us within itself and i couldn't help wonder how she drove the car in such a dense haze. After a long drive away, we the car finally halted at a mansion which appeared at least a 100 years old! The surroundings were mysterious and sorcerous and to be honest i felt a bit scared myself. By i tried to put on my brave front as she invited me in in the very same mystical tone.

Lady:My humble dwelling would be graced by the presence of a guest. So i invite you to stay here today.
Me: Thank you very much for your timely aid.
Lady:No need for that. Please come.

Saying so she unlocked the door and lead me into something what seemed like a an amazing palace. The interiors were so delightful that my eyes were dazzed. The place was magnificent. And completely royal in every sense.I looked around, and it all looked like a dream come true!

Lady:Consider this as your own. You must be tired of the journey, so please make yourself comfortable and have some rest while i make preparations for supper.

And then she moved towards the kitchen as i sat on the king-sized sofa. And i didn't realize when i dozed off, out of all the exhaustion of the day and got up only when she came up to wake me up.

Lady: Gentleman, the dinner is ready.

She again lead me to the dining room as my nostrils were being tickled by the pleasant smell of some amazing dish. And the dining table was such a treat to behold , laid down with such a delicious meal that made my mouth water. I sat down at once and pounced on the food as if i hadn't eaten for a 100 years without even caring for my host to start. And then when i felt i had had enough, i was embarrassed as to what she would think of me. So,i raised my eyelids from the food expecting her to be staring at me by now,but found her tying her long thick black hair which was lying loose into a neat bun. And as she finished, she too looked up and within a few nanoseconds, ironically, i realized myself staring at her instead. She was just BEAUTIFULL! Her eyes were like lotus petals, myriad and dark. They were like an ocean, one could drown into. Her nose was pointed and perfectly shaped and so were her lips, red like a rose. I did not know i was actually blushing for a long time and my gaze won't shift from her as she sat down to eat. And then, while she continued to eat, she asked me if i liked the food and was naturally full of praises for it.

Me:Its just amazing. I have never tasted something as tasty!

Instantly, a smile appeared on her lovely face. A killer smile that i was again lost in.

Lady:Thank you very much. But it is not so good and i know that.
Me:No thank you for helping me out. And yes it is.
Lady:As i said, there is no need to say thank you. Again that commonly used dialogue "It was only my duty".
And she giggled.

Me:Actually, i intended on saying this much before but somehow couldn't. Its not only about this hospitality you are showering on me.You even saved my life today, although unknowingly.
Lady:Really? And how is it may i ask?
Me:You remember that collision we had in the morning? And because of that i missed my flight. The very same flight that met with an accident later on. So i owe you my life! And if i can be so bold as to say ...

But before i could pour out that storm of questions that was waiting in my head since so long, she interrupted,

Lady:How many times have i to tell you this? You don't need to say a sorry or a thank you or anything, Pratap. As you already said it, it all happened unknowingly. You can call this a coincidence, but in a way, you saved me too because i too was in a hurry to board that very same flight.But forgot some important things so was going to bring that when i clashed into you and got saved. And i was in that very flight from which you landed, here in Mumbai but you didn't seem to notice me. And i was on my way here when i spotted you looking as worried and confused so thought of helping you.
Me:Really? Yes, i did not notice that. Wait, ermm..How did you, i mean how do you know my name is pratap.
Lady:I have been travelling with you for so long and you think i do not know you at all ? Stupid, i saw it on your passport when your bag fell.How else could i have known that?
Me:Oh ya, silly me. Actually, every misfortune fell on me today itself. First, i missed that flight and then when i landed in this unknown city for my work, i found out that i had been picked!
Lady:Of course you are new here. And by the way, i am no less silly. I offered you my hospitality but still forgot to introduce myself. Hi! I am Ajabde Punwar. And i belong originally to Mumbai. Was there in Udaipur for some important piece of work. But now i am back in my house. I know this may seem a bit scary but this place belongs to my forefathers. And i just love being here, cherishing this legacy. And i am all alone here at present but my brother Patta and sister Ratan live here too and of course there is our old servant too. But none of them is here tonight. Ratan is away to her friend's birthday party and will be staying there tonight. Patta has gone out of station for some work. And i must thank you for keeping me company tonight.

I was speechless. It was as if she had read my mind. And she had answered every single question i was just about to ask.
