Today's episode was an emotional rollercoaster. I think it is pretty apparent that Swara and Sanskaar are in love with each other and the duo are stuck in such a messy situation that being together at this point seems near impossible. One of my favourite books Atlas Shrugged has a portion where the lead thinks that she truly loved three people in her life, but will grant a higher level of emotion to only one. Her love for all 3 is powerful and passionate. While probably not identical, I think Sanskaar is in a similar position. Swara is the only one that will henceforth get that higher emotion from him. But that does notmean he forgets Kavita. She was after all this true love, her loss drove him to insanity and the calm in that storm that he raged with his family and self turned out to be Swara.
It is difficult to get away from that kind of intensity. While I do think so far Kavita's reappearance has been poorly sketched, she surely does deserve some kind of closure and help from Sanskaar and that's pretty much where he's at. The past was such a driving force for so many years of his life, that even though he has moved on, he will still honour it. I think this is also a great opportunity for him to understand what Swara does day in day out when she looks at others happiness and well being before her own. In him ensuring Kavita doesn't suffer shock or whatever, he will surely understand that there are sometimes things that need to be fixed before you can bid adieu.
Swara on the other hand is really lost at this point. She was already hurting from their separation and what she thought might be the final fix actually turned out to be a force she never dreamed she'd have to reckon with. She leaves the choice with him, because she knows what importance Kavita had iin his life and probably doesn't want to jeopardise that for him. This time she is solely thinking about Sanskaar and no one else. She puts herself through heartbreak that echoes way more than anything that she's ever felt before and in that precap scene I think she recognised the irony of missed timings
When her father says dobars apna pyaar an kho de, I don't think he realises that the first time it wasn't really love. This time it's far more special and she'll need every member in her family giving her the support that Sanskaar all too easily provided in a less intense loss.
Finally coming to what I think will be the clincher for Sanskaar to abandon all and make it right for Swara. The whole divorce trickery. Durgaprasad Ragini Swara all know that she didn't sign that divorce agreement. While we've had episodes post that where she's said it over and over and I do think Sanskaar knows well enough that money is something she'll never go after, but hearing it for sure that she never signed the papers will do it for him. Today when she said Maine sign Kia and the entire sequence that followed you could see them both smarting for different reasons. This I do sincerely believe will be the final straw before he reveals to Kavita.
Finally to quote Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Har Ishq ka ek waqt hota hai. Swara aur Sanskaar ka bhi aayega. All they need to do in the meantime is stay strong and remember who they love !
Phew, that turned out to be longer than I intended. Silent reader no more I guess :) Let me know what your thoughts are or if you think I'm on some random utopian trip ;)
