As of now, I would say Tabu for Fitoor and Kangana for Rangoon.

Kareena can surprise in UP and Ka and Ki but I don't know anything about the roles. If her role in UP is simple without any gravitas then no matter how good the movie, she is not giving the best performance. There will be no scope for her to do so. We will have to wait and see.

Kangana and Tabu have very complex roles from what I have read so far. Tabu is sheer brilliance in anything she does and her playing Miss. Havisham, I can't wait. Plus the role has been further lengthened on her coming on board.

And Kangana is being directed in WW2 backdrop by Vishal Bharadwaj. That should be enough to tell what kind of a role it will be. She has immense potential and is good, my only problem is her voice modulation/dialogue delivery. If she gets those right she will go places.

Speaking of roles, Shahid looks set for a great year. His look is UP is intriguing and then he has Rangoon as well.

Betting on Kangana and Aishwarya.

It is too early to say as we haven't even seen the trailers.

But these look promising to me:-

Aishwarya has a great mix with the two films. In one she is playing a village lady who ages from her 20's to late 50's and in other she is a glamazon reportedly playing RK's wife. Sarbjit sounds like a very challenging role and can't wait to see what she brings to the table.

Tabu was the best thing about the fitoor trailer. Excited to see what she has done with Miss Havisham.

Kangana working with the maverick Vishal Bhardwaj and the cast, plot sound interesting.

Kareena and Alia's lineups are interesting too.
