It's kinda disrespectful that you compared Salman to a genre actor like Govinda. We're not talking of acting here, are we? If we are, Govinda in comedy is better than the Khans combined.

I am talking about taking up formulaic films one after the other...after a few years its very hard to tell which salman khan appeared in which movie. This is my opinion that in the last 5-7 years he is mostly playing Salman Khan in his movies...there is very little will (?) to "perform" per se!

Aamir has akready been thinking about legacy since 2001 and chose films, causes, TV show accordingly. His choice of directorial debut, or the age appropriate choice in form of Dangal shows he knows what he wanrs to do in future and what image he wants to build.
He will be remembered as thinking superstar.

SRK should think seriously. He is building his business but not doing much as an actor. I have hopes from Raees though. I hope he does something better in future than playing dad, uncle or love guru in same formulaic Johar, Farah, YRF films. He must stop wasting himself in Shetty films, as an actor. He has no promise as a filmmaker though, the way Aamir has.
He will be remembered for romance and consistency. Probably as biggest star too due to his success in business.

Salman doesn't seem to be concerned at all. He has reinvented himself from lover boy, family guy to action hero, but is still more of a stereotype hero. He has not even shown tendency towards age appropriate roles. BB was a saving grace and gave hope for better stuff from him. I hope he doesn't become or try to become like Rajinikanth, a caricature of himself.
He will be remembered for his looks/style, personal life masala besides his mass appeal, popularity.

All 3 are already right up there among biggest stars ever. Even if they do not succeed later in older age, or give up working altogether, it doesn't affect their place in history and the fact that they defined generations for quarter of a century.
