Global Fiesta 2015 organised at Delhi Public School Azaad Nagar in Kanpur
TV artist Sadanand Verma (L) with Alok Misra, Founder DPSKanpur witnessed a lot of excitement at the Global Fiesta 2015, a grand exhibition cum cultural extravaganza organised at Delhi Public School Azaad Nagar on December 20. The event witnessed a huge crowd thronging the premises of the school from noon till late in the evening. This much talked about event was a delightful combination of intellect, fine arts and performing arts of the students.
The highlight of the programme was the performance of India's Got Talent fame rock band Underground Authority which made everyone groove to their songs. The presence of TV actor Sanand Verma better known as Saksena ji of the serial Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hain made the crowd rapturous as he interacted with them with his famous line "I like it!". The food court and the kids zone heightened the entertainment quotient at the event.
An exhibition titled, Glimpses of the World with Stations of Knowledge put up by students from classes pre-nursery to 12 was another attraction at the event which was inaugurated by Ashutosh Pandey, IG, Kanpur. The other dignitaries present at the event were Bandana Misra, the pro-vice chariperson, Alok Misra, founder and Devavrat Misra, a member of the managing committee along with Rachna Mohotra, the prinicpal of the school.
