I'm wid maty coz ahsaan tak toh its okay...but vachan is totally a different thing! So it definitely holds some significance. May be this word is introduced to show bihaan' dilemma b/w thapki & vasu but lately in the show...

I agree with you. Vachan may not be as important as we are thinking. Only thing it can possibly be used for is to get to the marriage truth. OR it may be used to save the marriage - if Vasu asks Bihaan to divorce Thapki and Thapki does not want it.

Vachan is not needed for any other type of sacrifice that I can think of in case of these two mahaan "bahus" -

- thapki wants to separate/divorce even after a confession, Bihaan will oblige

- Thapki wants Bihaan to take care of Maaa - Check

- Thapki wants Bihaan to take care of the whole zoo - Check

- Thapki wants Bihaan to sacrifice for Dhurv - Check

Can anyone think of scenarios where Bihaan will say no to Thapki?

They can't use the vachan for marriage truth since Bihaan has already promised his Maa n cannot break it.
For all other things Bihaan will agree to whatever Thapki says. The marriage is actually in Thapki hands. It will most probably b used for stopping the divorce by Thapki.

Agree - Vachan could force him to go against maaa - it is not needed in any other scenario. Thapki's word is his command 😆😆
