DRAMA - Because its the first time

Do you guys like SHINee Min ho? Then this is the drama to watch. Our beloved min ho has been part of quite a few shows but this might be his best work so far, not that he was bad before but it's this drama and this character of his that moved me. Because it's the first time just finished its run a month or so back and I am still getting over the fact that it is over😭.

Because it's the first time claimed to be a drama about twenty something's experiencing everything for the first time, hence the title. But let me tell you, this drama more than anything is about friendship. The drama was kind of an experiment as it was onstyle's first fiction show. Which is why they kept the episode length short (15 mins) but for the international audience they combined the episodes aired during the week and released one 45 mins episodes every week.

In total there are 8 episodes of this drama.

I found the first episode only mildly interesting, it was good but not addicting but then by the second or third episode I was hooked. Suddenly Thursdays felt so far away and park so dam became my Jung so min 2.0. I loved Jung so min in playful kiss and now I love park so dam in this one. I was in awe of her When park made me feel all the emotions song yi (her character) went through (as if I was the one it was happening to), her embarrassment over getting rejected and cursing her crush for rejecting her and then getting embarrassed all over again for doing that😆, it all felt so real. But she is not the only one who was good, the whole cast gave a nice and heartfelt performance. The show stuck to its slice of life format till the end which I liked and hated at the same time. Why? Because the end felt abrupt, as if they just randomly pulled the plug. The makers created a really good love triangle ( a little bit like reply 1997's triangle) and then did nothing (much) about it. And it says something when I didn't even realize till the last episode that we have reached the finish line😕. for a second there i even wondered if lost the scripts for the next eight episodes or something equally crazy. for being a show about first times there were hardly any first times. which is just sad.I am not saying that I hated where left the characters at the end, but i did hate how they ended up there. There is a difference between the two, believe me. I really wish that next time this writer will write a story that is in sink with the episode count. But before that happens they better make a second season of this show or else they will forever have me bitter over this.

P.S. Kim min jae is adorable here , which is funny coz i found him and his girlfriend dull and annoying in his previous show Twenty again.😆
