Hi Hammie,

Thanks again for your write up .

Todays episode was nothing to write home about. There was a sense of impatience in the forum towards Dhaani and RL , who of course is a means to and end and that is to get Dhaani to realize her feelings. At one point we all agree that Vip is pushing and poking Dhaani a bit too fast and too hard but he is not a man who sits to wait things to happen . The story movement maybe fast but the content is right .

The first scene that you said you liked seemed a bit childish to me . Both arguing - " I but love you, you also love me , someone else loves you ...it went on and on .." and by the end of it I was ready to scream . the girl will tell you that she loves you when she is ready you cannot hammer it out of her Viplav . Sure Dhaani needs some prodding but I wish it was a bit subtle .

The RL angle is yet another irritant if you ask me not because she is not a good friend etc etc but the fact that her character has not been built up correctly. All is so random . I am not sure how other shows do it but this one picks up characters , uses them and then throws them away .

Yet there were several bits I really liked and the reason I watch the show so diligently .

- The mandir scene of putting Dhaanis hand on his head . Its the oldest trick in the world. I closely watched the expressons of both actors and they were just perfect . the shine in Viplavs eyes in expectation when she raises her hand again or the disappointment when she rejects him . Unable to contain herself Dhaani runs the steps of the stairs wanting to get away from it all coz somewhere she is tired of lying .

- DTs trip to the jail to meet Trip. His one line "Dhaani has my grandson in her vice and is spinning him like a top " . So typical of men ( and some women ) to blame women for performing some vodoo on men folk that they loose their senses . Such disdain for the poor little girl .

- The sweet call Viplav makes to Dhaani to invite her for dinner. Asking her to bind his life with hers into a beautiful garland .

- Viplav being a perfect gentlemen despite him being disappointed seeing RL replace Dhaani for the dinner. he did not create a scene or anything just sat down with her to eat .

- The last closing shot when both look miserable and forlorn . As you say Fire on both sides.

All tricks in the book and maybe more to come.

Hugs

yes I agree... dhani as I say without, damning her has special needs.. viplav is no professional to deal with those needs but.. what he has is patience .. and hope that he'll make a breakthrough with her..

Hello Hammie.
You know how much I like reading your analysis even before watching the episodes. Coz you explain each scene and emotion perfectly. Your poetic way in writing about Viplav made me fall for him more than I did. So now I am on Viplav's side. And I know. Once Dhani starts feeling for him you'll make me love her more than before too.

I hate cliched scenes..like swearing by God , harm your self till she realizes her love..and so. But watch ViDha doing these types of scenes made me feel another way. They are so natural actors. They make each scene a delight to watch. I felt bad for Viplav when she sweared ..but when she came back I almost jumped happily. I was smiling all the way seeing Viplav's victorious eyes. Alhamdulillah.

That date was a good idea too. Imagine Dhani going with Viplav on a date. Oh sorry Hammie I have to go back to ViDha's dreamland now.
