Dear Shah,
I will refrain from calling you SRK as I personally prefer "Shah". Writing to you on behalf of all SRKians.. (those of whom disagree, I am sorry for that). But whomsoever I have interacted till now have more or less the same opinion.
You have had 23 golden years in the industry. There has been ups and downs, and good numbers and bad numbers. But you have reached a level where anything you do will be a hit according to the BW standards of "HIT". Ofcourse not in the Khan standard and we can see that. But, not only your fans, but most of the viewers of Indian Cinema, which is primarily Hindi cinema, expect a lot from you and your two contemporaries, Aamir and Salman. Because you already have given them so much. But, you should not only trust your stardom. You should trust the script too at times. We really don't mean to "guide" you on what to do, but we just love you genuinely and unconditionally, and hence we are just telling you what we as your fans would want to see you as. Its you who taught us, "success is not a good teacher, failure makes you humble." Please learn from the past failures. Yes, I know most of them have been successful in numbers. But a true success would be in the sense like a success of Chak De India, which is a fantastic film and also a HIT. If not that way performance oriented, for instance, lets go back to your days of Baazigar, Darr and then the timeless DDLJ and even Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Even Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham! Think of Kal Ho Na Ho. We all want that Aman Mehra! You took risks of doing a negative role at such an early stage of your career, then why not take risks, which is not even a risk for you anymore, now?
In other words, its high time you stop doing films like Ra One, Happy New Year, Dilwale, JTHJ etc. (I am not including Chennai Express as I loved the film) These films are not good films, and we expect you to do films which are both commercially successful and critically acclaimed. Please give it a thought. We are so sorry to expect so much for you and leave it to you to fulfill all our expectations. It is just that sometimes we do tend to forget that you are not a superhero but just another of us. We are glad for your next ventures Fan and Raees, which I hope will fulfill our expectations and also will be a perfect reply to all those who say you are gone. Atleast you aren't rejecting scripts like BeboJi 😆
And no matter what, we SRKians (atleast me myself) love you a lot and we genuinely don't like it when people bash you, or even criticise you. But the criticism is very true at times. Especially on your choice of films for the past 3-4 years. Even another RNBDJ (That is one love story very close to my heart) would be much better than a DIlwale. And yeah, please choose Karan Johar or Adi CHopra for your next film with Kajol.. not Farah or Rohit please. All the best for Fan and Raees and I hope you swoop next year's Best Actor 🤗

PPS- This is NOT another thread for SRK bashing, or bashing of any of his "rivals" for that manner. There are innumerable threads which have been opened criticising Shah, or bashing him and even I have had good discussions with many forum members here. So please, not here :) If anyone wants me to add anything to this, please do post below! I might have missed something.. (No sarcastic comments please)
