He wants to see her in pain, but then when she is in pain, why can't he bear it?
He wants to see her eyes filed with tears but when she is crying, why does he want to burn the whole world?
He hates her from the depth of his soul but then why does she affect him so much? Why does it affect him if she thinks that he sent the goons? Why does it upset him that she thinks he made her wear that waitress dress so men would make cheap offers to her? Why does it affect him when she thinks that he can go so low as to drag her father in his revenge and play with his life?
He hates her, but then WHY can't he stop caring for her? Why does he get restless when she is not around? Why does his eyes only search for her? Why does he find comfort in her arms only? Why does her presence soothes his burning soul?
The answer is obvious, we all know it and somewhere deep inside even Kartik knows that he can never hate her completely because his love for her has no bounds. He loved her then and he loves her now... His whole life revolved around her then and still revolves around her now.
That hurt when Survi asked Kartik why does he care if she changes the dress or not and that he himself wanted people to humiliate her like this. This hurt him so much, he got so angry that she could think about him like this. But when he looked into her eyes, all that burning fire turned into helplessness. He cannot control his feelings for her, it is getting more difficult to fight with them.
That look of helplessness and those teary eyes were so beautifully done by Ankush! That scene stole the show. Damn that expression just portrayed all the inner turmoil Kartik is going through!
