CDI and BMB very close. And then Iqbal.

I voted for CDI as it's a Girls team and then its hockey. Now I am no hockey pro but I have always felt hockey as a sport has always been sidelined and neither the sport or players have got their due in India.

Like all other people, I am also one of the cricket lover. But I do believe hockey deserves its place.

CDI showed the sport in great detail. I loved every second of that movie. I love all the girls. A good performance from srk after a long time. I remember all the dialogues, have watched it n number of times and I can still watch it any day. Direction and script takes cake. Brilliantly well made sports movie from BW.

Next comes BMB. It shows how the sports athlete movie should actually be made. You can't leave your seat thru out. Great direction and acting!

Honorable mentions to Pan Singh Tomar and Jo jeeta wahi sikandar. PST focuses more on how the athletes are treated in India. but JJWS.. Love Love Love this movie. It's not a sport movie per say.. but everything about it is - so perfect. Like CDI, this is one of those movies, I can watch anytime.

Lagaan is a great movie too.. but it's too long. It doesn't make you want to seat and watch it every time its on.

Mary Kom - Movie did not do justice to Mary Kom or PC's acting capabilities. Messed up direction.

How can I forger Iqbal. Iqbal goes on the 3rd rank. Brilliant acting and story.

Even though for me lagaan > cdi bt it ll not qualify for a movie exclusively based on sports so I ll chose cdi..it had other issues addressed too..bt if dat can b over looked I ll chose jo jeeta wahi sikander (not in d list)over any movie which had sports as it's main/sideline concept
