...not reaching families over weekend due to screen battle
As Shah Rukh Khan - Kajol's Dilwale races towards the Rs 50 crore mark, there are two things in the actor's must do' list. One is to grab some sleep and the other is to watch his masala entertainer in a theatre. "I am very, very happy by public response to Dilwale but I'm little tired. I haven't slept for some days and I haven't yet seen the film in a theatre. So either I go watch the film and go to sleep in the theatre before the movie, or go to sleep after I have seen the film. These are the two things I want to do in the next few days," laughs Shah Rukh.
Further, talking about the response to his film, he says, "Opening has been tremendous. People have liked the film but there were these little issues with theatres. That made me little sad because the film hasn't reached the people that we wanted to which is the families, and then weekend being for the families. But that's okay, what has to happen has to happen. The issue got resolved today (It may be recalled that the Bajirao Mastani distributor, Eros International, recently lost out the single screen battle to Shah Rukh's Red Chillies) and hopefully by tomorrow or day after, the families will get more opportunity to watch the film which makes me feel happy. It's not just about money, it's more about the n number of people you want to enjoy the film in this festive season."
Whose fault is that? Should've tried avoiding the clash then SRK...
