Nice CS ,very different characters.I am imagining Roshni as an engineer wearing suits and all ,she looks awesome😳 Sid flirty haha ,would be loving to see you write that! Continue soon ,would love to read further!😊

The character sketch is very interesting..loved it😳😳

CHAPTER 1

Staring at her phone, she was confused whether to call or not to call. Roshni took a deep breath, and decided to leave from office. She thought it was better to break the news in front of her parents in front of them, rather than calling them over the phone.

She parked her car in the garage. She entered her house, and saw her parents were working in the kitchen.

Roshni: " Hello Mom Dad!" and side hugged her dad who was cutting vegetables. He smiled at her.

Shiv: " Hello Baccha. How was your day?"

Then she side hugged her mom.

DD: " Roshni, how come you are home so early today?"

Roshni knew it was the time to tell. She was scared of her mom , she knew her dad would be ok.

Roshni: " umm..guyz, I need to tell you something."

DD: " Batao"

Roshni: " There is some issue going on with new pipeline project. And the lawyer firm that is dealing with this case is from Vancouver."

DD: " so?"

Roshni: " So...Mom, my boss asked me to stay in Vancouver for a month. You know..." Before she could finish, DD interrupted.

DD: " I hope you said no."

Roshni knew her mom would be like this. Roshni: " Actually Mom I wanted to , but I couldn't. I know so many details of this project, and that's y, it is extremely important for me to go there."

DD: " Roshni...You are not going to Vancouver, sorry."

Shiv: " Arrey...Roshni ki baat toh sun lo...and Roshni, is it really that important?"

Roshni: " Yeah, it is." Shiv understood. But DD wasn't ready to listen to her.

DD: " Roshni..." Roshni interrupted. She went close to her mom and while side hugging her, said. " Mom, I know you don't like sending me so far from you. But trust me, I can take care of myself, I am 24 years old. Pleaseee...Pleaseee..."

DD was strict, but she loved her kids. So she was finally ready to send Roshni to Vancouver.

DD: " Wait,,lemme call your Anita aunty."

Roshni: " Mom, no...plzz..I am not going to stay with her family there."

DD to Shiv: " Dekhiye isko...( then to Roshni) ...what is the problem?"

Roshni: " Mom, Please I don't wanna live with such a dramatic family where her sons and their wives are always fighting with each other and that saas-bahu drama, please I need some peace."

DD: " Where else are you going to stay then?"

Roshni: " Mom, Vancouver is a big city. I can live anywhere. Waise, my boss told me that I will be living in a fully furnished apartment that will be provided by the company. Toh I am set." While grinning.

DD to Shiv: " Why are you nto saying anything? She is so careless. Apna room toh theek se rakh nhi sakti yeh. Bol bol k isko khana khilana padta hai because she is always busy in her work. How is she gonna take care of herself?"

Before Shiv could say anything, Roshni : " Mom...You know I love you..I know you are worried for me..Trust me I hate to leave you guyz for a month as much as you do...but work is work na...and don't worry, I will take care of myself. I promise you, and you know I never break my promises."

DD smiled and kissed Roshni on her forehead.

DD: " han han...you have also learnt how to convince me just like you dad...You guyz r too smart.."

Roshni: " aha, so that means Dad can convince you everything.."

DD: " Aur nhi toh kya...He convinced me to marry him, otherwise, I wouldn't have... He was always running after me saying plzz marry me plzz marry me.."

Shiv: " Oh hello Madam...I was running?...Dont forget, even you were crazy in my love...Who itna make up and dressing up and all, mere liye hi karti thi na...Waise Roshni, tumhe wohh Terrace ki baat btayi hai kya maine..?"

DD hit Shiv lightly, with love, on his arm. " Shiv, seriously? Bilkul besharam ho aap."

Roshni smiled seeing her lovely parents. Roshni: " Aww, Mom is blushing. I would love hear that Terrace ki baat. But abhi mujhe jaldi se packing karni hai. I have to leave early in the morning tomorrow"

DD: " Yeah, go do it. Make sure you take everything with you. You clothes, warm clothes, your gadgets..."

Roshni interrupted: " Mom, I am not going for years. It only for a month. And waise I am still in Canada. Kahin bahar nhi jaa rhi hun, so don't worry. And for warm clothes, Vancouver is so much warmer than Calgary. "

DD: " Han, who bhi hai. Bas, check everything and make sure you don't forget anything.:

Roshni ran to her room and started to pack her stuff.

Next morning, she said bye to her parents and left for Vancouver. It was about 2 hours long flight. She got a taxi from the airport and went straight to her office, where her meeting with the lawyer and a senior manager of her company's Vancouver branch was going to take place.

Soon she was in her office. She met her senior manager who told her that she would have to wait for the lawyer since he was late. Roshni went to the meeting room, and she was waiting there.

On the other side, in Khurana's house, or a Mansion since it is huge, Sid was about to leave, when Biji called him.

Biji: " Sid puttar, ethe aa."

Sid smiled and ran to her. Sid: " Ji Darling, hokum kijiye."

Biji: " Sid, meri appointment hai Doctor k saath. Tera dad abhi tak aaaya ni, shayad stuck ho gaya hoga kisi kaam se. Puttar tum mujhe drop kar sakte ho?"

Sid was getting late, but nothing mattered more to him than his Biji. Sid: " Darling, ye bhi koi pooochne wali baat hai. Aaap bas hokum kijiya kariye. Lets go."

He dropped her, and reached the company's office where he had meeting. He was an hour late.

It took him 10 more mins to figure out which floor and meeting room to go to. He ran like anything, finally he saw the meeting room on the other end of the floor. He walked to the room. It has glass walls. From outside, he could see a lady standing there, wearing a pair of jeans with a sweatshirt that was too big for her size. Her hair were tied in a loose bun. She was facing to the other side, so he could nt see her face.

Sid( in his mind) : " Who is she? She does not look like someone who I would have a business formal meeting with. Anyways, lets go inside and see."

He opened the door. As Roshni heard the sound, she turned around.

Sid was awe-struck with her beauty. Sid( to himself) : "Mannn...she is gorgeous...how can someone look so beautiful with that bun and those clothes.." He was completely lost in her. Roshni said hi to him but he did not respond back. He was constantly staring at her. She saw on her sides, there seemed nothing that could be staring at, but her.

She moved closer, extended her hand, Roshni: " Good Morning, Mr.??"

Sid was still lost. Roshni shook him a little from his arm, he finally came to his senses.

Sid :" wohh...I...you?"

Roshni: " I am Roshni Patel. Project Manager, and from your clothes, I am guessing you are the lawyer I am supposed to have a meeting with."

Sid smiled : " yeah, I am "that" lawyer. I am Siddharth Khurana, you can call me Sid." And extended his hand. After shaking hands, Roshni: " Nice to meet you Mr. Siddharth Khurana. I am Roshni Patel. I am a project manager. I think I told you before, but you seemed lost somewhere."

Sid got embarrassed. He could not believe he acted so stupid.

Roshni: " Lets take a seat?" Sid nodded, and they took seats on a round table.

Sid: " I actually wanted to say sorry. I am sorry for making you wait for so long. I was on time, but then I had to take my Biji, I mean my Grandma to her doctor, and it took some time because of traffic."

Roshni admired the fact that he cared so much for his grandma, so she smiled and said " Its fine. Don't worry."

Soon the senior manager arrived and they started meeting. After 3 hours, they were done with the meeting. Senior manager left as he had some other meeting.

Roshni was arranging her files, while Sid got a call. He excused himself. Just then, Roshni saw her water bottle was empty. He walked to the small kitchen that all meeting rooms had to grab water. As she reached the kitchen, she heard Sid talking on the phone.

Sid ( to someone on his phone) : " Yeah bro..I got late...Had to drop darling , so you know.."

Roshni was really mad at him. Roshni ( to herself) : " Darling?..oh...ohh grandma ka bahana banaa k darling k saath time spend kiya ka raha hai.." .

Just then Sid ended the call, and turned around. He saw Roshni standing there.

Sid: " Waise Ms. Roshni, it is not a good manner to overhear others' conversations ."

Roshni was furious. First this guy lied about getting late and now he was blaming her and telling her that she did not have manners.

Roshni walked close to him , while keeping her water bottle on the countertop.

Roshni: " Really Mr. Khurana? ..Now you will teach me manners...jo khud jhooth bolta hai to make an excuse for being late for a meeting.."

Sid : " Excuse?...hello Ms. Roshni. I never lied about anything. "

Roshni: " Besharmi ki toh waise had hi ho gayi...first you lied, now you are lieing again to hide your first lie.?"

Sid: " What are you talking about?"

Roshni: " ohh...Like you don't know...grandma ko chodne gaye the bol k darling ko drop kiya jaa raha hai, nhi?"

Sid now understood it. He smiled. He loved to see her in that anger, it made her look even hotter.

Sid moved even closer, Roshni started to move back until she hit the counter. Sid leaned closer.

Sid ( in a flirting tone) : " Tohh...you have a problem with me coming late?..or you have a problem that I have a darling?" and winked.

Roshni( to herself) : " Is this guy mad...God, I cant believe I will be working with this joker for next month."

Roshni: " Why would I have a problem if you have someone in your life?..All I am saying is , who comes late to suchaa important meeting just cuz he had to drop his "darling.."

Sid leaned even closer, now Roshni's back was arched onto the counter.

Sid( huskily) : " well in that case...Aap meri darling ban k toh dekhiye...ye meeting kya, main aapko chodd k ek minute bhi kahin na jayu.."

Roshni pushed him back using her hands. Roshni :" You know what you are impossible. To hell with your darling, and you. God..." She left.

Sid smiled, ( to God) : "Haye rabba...mar gaya main toh...God, she is hot...those eyes filled with anger, mann...its gonna be fun...so Ms. Roshni Patel, lets have some real fun in this month."

Alright, this is chapter 1. I know its plainly stupid...I didn't know how to start it...But I just had to...Please leave comments , if you like it, or if you don't. All types of suggestions are more than appreciated.
