My plan was to go and watch all 3 movies on Saturday but mujhse aur wait karna nhi hoga, I actually wanted to drive last night but I was stopped.

So now new plan is catch Dilwale today, and then watch it again with friends like the plan was along with BM and maybe Star Wars.

SRK-Kajol's 'Dilwale' earns record day-1 collection in UAE

Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol pair's much-awaited Dilwale is creating history by garnering a record opening day gross collection in the UAE.

The film gathered a gross collection of about $900,000 from the UAE market, the best recorded ever for a Bollywood flick, on its first day from there.

The amount is calculated to be ahead of Hollywood movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens'first day collection by 60 per cent and by 400 per cent to Ranveer Singh and Dipika Padukone's Bajirao Mastani which also hit the screens on Friday.

The movie, the latest from hit-maker Rohit Shetty, has all elements of a Bollywood entertainer laced with action, rib-tickling comedy, fresh pairing of Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan, the loved 'jodi' of Kajol-SRK, and scenic landscapes of Bulgaria, Iceland and Goa.

Dilwale was phenomenal on its opening day. According to early estimates Dilwale 1st day box office collection will be in the range of 22-23 crore. The figure can change a bit depending upon the performance of late night shows.

Shahrukh Khan starrer has a very good opening in the morning shows. The overall occupancy was 70% which was the third best of 2015. The opening was huge in all over India both at single screens and multiplexes. As the day progressed, it showed very good growth. The occupancy in the evening shows was around 80%. The film was running like a riot in West Bengal, Mysore and Chennai.

Dilwale 1st day collection will be 12th highest opening day ever. The film has beaten Agneepath, and Bodygaurd. There are chances that it will be in the range of Krrish 3 and Kick, when official figures will be out.

Dilwale collection on day 1 is also the 3rd highest for any Shahrukh Khan starrer. His best are Happy New Year and Chennai Express.

The film was hit in Maharashtra by Bajirao Mastani. But in all other places it was way ahead of Ranveer Singh starrer. The margin was more than double in Delhi and Punjab.

Dilwale box office collection is an excellent result on its day 1. The film was released on a normal day and less screens. It was also competing with Bajirao Mastani. Though without clash it would have easily gone to 32 crore+ on its opening day.

The film is carrying good reports in all over India. So it is expected that film will collect in the same range on Saturday. It will be a great result if the film can show some kind of growth. The advance booking is also terrific for tomorrow.
