Kashi Express 17/12: We are just 'good friends'!!

Continuing from yesterday, the episode mainly focused on Sagar and Gangaa's contrasting views on their relationship. While Gangaa is hopelessly in love with Sagar and believes that their deep friendship is nothing but love, Sagar is convinced that Gangaa is nothing more than his "best friend".

Considering the fact that I am yet to fall in love😆, Sagar spoke my mind when he declares that best friends can never become lovers, since you know them "inside out", whereas a relationship needs to keep the mystery element intact, so that the partners always have something to discover about the other😆 What I love about Sagar is that, inspite of having lived a cool 10 years abroad, he doesn't hesitate to declare his friendship with Gangaa, which makes him so much relate-able and indeed a break from the usual phoren-returned heroes of Indian TV😆

At the same time, its nice to see that Gangaa isn't your usual docile widow who doesn't know how to stand for herself and for her loved ones. She instantly opposed to match-making process of Pulkit (and later of Sagar, thanks to Prabha Mami😆). Glad to see that neither Gangaa nor Sagar's core characteristics have changed post the leap😃👍🏼

Now coming to the best part of the episode. So Sagar's annoying girlfriend has a Champu brother Sahil😆 who isn't exactly a hit with the ladies😆, since he has all the SRK-esque dreams about his girl😆. At first, Sagar was all eager and in a mood to mock Champu but the moment Champu laid his eyes on Gangaa's pic in Sagar's phone, Sagar's smile instantly vanishes😆 This single scene shows the acting prowess of Vishal. He instantly switched from sneering Champu to hesitation when Annoying GF asked him to become the match maker. The change of his expressions was subtle, yet very, very evident👏 Sagar might claim to be just "best friends" with Gangaa, but deep down, he is unable to share her with anybody, just like how Gangaa wants Sagar all by herself😆 He even tries to dissuade Champu by telling him that she is a widow, but Champu is very open-minded you see😆 Even though Sagar hesitantly agrees to the match making, you know he is not happy about it. Vishal was totally brilliant here⭐️

Madhvi is still concerned about the deep friendship between SaGa😆 Chup kara dia bechari Gangaa ko😆

Precap: So Sagar along with annoying gf and Champu are heading to Banaras😃 It's interesting to see that Sagar doesn't want Gangaa to know about his gf. What is Sagar worried about exactly, if Gangaa is indeed his just "good friend"?😕😉
