TOI Article:Meet the grown-up Gangaa & Sagar!

A new chapter in the lives of Gangaa and Sagar is set to unfold today , as the television show Gangaa goes in for a time leap.The child widow, who made an earnest effort to take societal norms in her stride, will now be seen as a young, mature woman. Over the years, her friendship with Sagar has also changed as the two step into adulthood.

The story , set in the backdrop of Varanasi, will now focus on how this bitter-sweet friendship between the two childhood friends take on a new, different meaning for the two of them.

While Aditi Sharma will essay the zesty Gangaa, Vishal Vashistha will play Sagar. Says Aditi, "Gangaa has grown up, but she hasn't compromised on her beliefs. She is an integral part of the Chaturvedi family and nurtures feelings for her friend Sagar."

Vishal adds, "I'm glad to be a part of a show with so much integrity and essay the role of Sagar. The beauty of the character is the relationship he shares with Gangaa. I am certain the audience will like our chemistry ."
