Aditi Sharma, who was one of the four leading ladies in Ranveer Singh starrer Ladies vs Ricky Bahl is all set to make her small screen debut with & TV's popular show Gangaa. She will replace child actress Ruhana Khanna as Gangaa post a leap of 10 years.

Excited to be a part of the show Aditi said she got a chance to relive her childhood memories while shooting for the soap opera in Varanasi.

"My grandparents were from Varanasi, so when I was young I used to come here for my vacations which rejuvenated my childhood memories. Ganga ghats remind me of the time when I used to come early morning with my grandfather. I feel so much positivity and divinity here," Aditi told IANS.

Talking about her role of Gangaa, she said: "I always wanted to play a strong, powerful and challenging character. She doesn't cry and finds out a way in every difficult situation. This character is very influencing and would help me grow," she added.

Aditi, who has also appeared in films Mausam and Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami, will be seen on the show from December 14 onwards.
