Dec 9th 2015: 2002 hit-and-run case: Prosecution failed to prove Salman Khan was drunk and driving, says Bombay High Court.

High Court to announce verdict today, Dec 10th, 2015. .

Judge: It is detrimental that the PROSECUTION never requested to cross-examine Kamaal Khan.
Judge: Patil's statement on mishap day vs. Patil's statement couple days later are different. Therefore, not reliable.
Judge: No other witness stated the accused was driving.

My concerns.

On whose behalf is the prosecution fighting this case? On behalf of the victims rights? Why aren't the victims and their needs presented in court? Will prosecution demand compensation or was his goal to just put Salman behind bars??? 😕 strange af.
If HC dismisses this case because there is no solid evidence against Salman, will this case be further probed to conclude who was driving? Ashok Singh said he was driving.
If this is all a lie, then they could have just said Patil was driving. It would make more sense because Patil changed his FIR statements and it's evidence enough.

Just few days ago, when HC refused hear Kamaal's side of story, everyone was rejoicing and having faith in the indian judicial system. Right?

Today, when HC doubts the credibility of Patil's statement as well, everyone loses faith?

We should be rather concerned about the fact will the Prosecution even CONSIDER the 4 victims he is fighting on behalf of? Where are they? Why doesn't he ever like ever mention them? Why doesn't he ever demand for their needs? What is his motive?

thanks for pointing out theyre all in cahoots.

the verdict was written a decade ago. this has been a waste of time and resources of the indian residents.

No justice for the victims, thats all that really matters at this point.

If whatever you have mentioned is what has actually happened then SIGH. MONEY does the talking most of the times SK is going to be free of all charges ...Party time for people who support him...and down goes my faith in the Indian judiciary...How I wish people were true to themselves and the world and accept their mistakes... I have accepted all my mistakes till date and have been paying for it all the time, dang cant change myself...its not so tough to understand why intolerance has increased in India...now I feel what Aamir said is so so true on intolerance...how the effing hell you expect intolerance to not rise...how the effing hell do you change such a corrupt system...People expect so much from Modi...its like if he does not do everything people will vote for others who do nothing at all in the name of power...whatever happens I'm hoping Modi stays in power forever...He is not corrupt and that is what is hurting all the effing corrupt politicians and their so called chamchas from where will the chamchas earn easy money ...there are only two things I do not like about him but thats meant for some other topic.

^^ You know, It's true, money does the talking. Especially in our countries. Bribing has killed honesty. I don't deny this. Although, I do believe 13 years is a VERY LONG time and If Money and lots of money was the only resort to end this case, then why didn't Salman just do it earlier like the rich people do? Honestly, which Guilty would drag a case for 13 years when money can do the talking? This is not just about "13 years" but this is about constant stress, reputation and recently, getting banned from visiting countries like USA, Canada. Salman's character certificated is "f**ked". Why would he do this to himself if really Money was going to close this case for good? Salman, who is said to have connections, was able to scrap this 10 years ago for what makes sense to me.

I would say it's the system, the education, & the technology thus, lack of evidence and lack of capabilities to bring a case to closure and of course, dishonesty and corruption is icing on the cake. The amount of ridiculous arguments we read were very childish, and neither was the prosecution strong enough to take a lead.

13 years later, when I hear things like "Kamaal was never cross examined, victims were never cross examined, Ashok was never cross examined" -- It just doesn't make sense to me. How can the law not order to cross examine people who were all involved during mishap. How????

As a Fan, yes, I'm happy this case will finally come to closure. I'm not sure if the verdict will be in Salman's favor to be honest. And you know even if it is, the damage is done. Salman has evolved as a person but past remains with you. I don't know if Salman has done it, and I won't say he did. I will just prefer to leave this as is, and Hope those 4 victims receive compensation. That's all. If Salman ends up in jail, those 4 victims will not even receive a penny and that's not what I want.
