Feeling at home in Kanpur, Kritika said, "I have an old connect with Kanpur. It feels like home. My nana-nani used to stay here. In fact, I have also studied here till class 7 at St Joseph's Senior Secondary School. Though my grandparents don't live here anymore, but I have some close family friends here and whenever I visit Kanpur, I make sure I meet them. This time my visit to the city was a very short one and I missed out on eating matar chaat, which is a specialty of the Kanpur."
Not a fan of saas-bahu serials, Kritika says they're not her cup of tea. "My show, Reporters has just finished and at the moment I am enjoying my freedom from work. As far as saas-bahu serials are concerned, I won't do them because they are quite regressive. The story in such serials hardly moves forward and seems to get stuck in time. I did Reporters only because the story was very progressive and the story line moved forward. There was a lot happening in the serial," said Kritika who's also reading a few movie scripts. "I am reading scripts these days but something concrete has yet to materialize," said she.
And while on a break from work, Kritika who's an adventure freak, recently holiday in South Africa. "I was in South Africa to vacation. I tried bungy jumping from the world's highest bridge and also tried my hand at skydiving. It was such a thrilling experience that I did it once again after two days," said she with a laugh, adding, "The experience of diving from 12,000 feet was out of the world."
