It makes sense to pay Kangana higher than Shahid and Saif. Because Kangana's Queen and TWMR were a hit without a big hero in them.

But it's just not in comparison to the Khans or HR. They are a whole different league.

There are lots of other male actors today besides the Khans and they can't generate the level of business that the Khans generate but are still paid more than their female counterparts. For instance, what about Ranbir Kapoor being paid more than Anushka for BV?
