Episode starts with Anamika crying over Kumar's dead body. She wails and laments.
She accuses the raja of killing her husband, and his own son. Raja slices her arm with the same knife, but her wounds heals and she screams that she is a Maani yielding naagin, and she cannot be killed. Purohit comes in between and says that naag maani protects you but Garurd maut protects the Rajvansh, and says that raja didnt kill kumar, but its on your head. I will use my vidya to kill you. He chants some mantras and throws powder on her, Anamika becomes restless and finally the the mani comes out of her mouth, she tries reaching it, but Purohit picks it up. Raja then kills the naagin, and Anamika curses that she will destroy all of the Rajvansh. She curses the Purohit that no girl in his family would ever have love, they all would die but none would get married and moment any girl tries to fall in love, the rajvansh will loose its yuvraj. She ties both the families with her curse. Hence need of devrakshika is revealed
Purohit pledges to the raja that all the girls in his family would serve the Rajvansh and his family would continue the tradition and serve them. And says that he will restrict an area of the forest,and the nagins would be restricted in it.
100 year old flash back gets over.
Badi amma says this is how the ritual of Devrakshika started, Manu says but that naag maani is not our, why dont we give it back to the naags. Badi amma replies that by returning the naag mani the animosity between naag and garurd maat wont end, only we would end. Naag wont forgive us, badi amma continues that this war will be won by who yields the maani. And enemy is always granted death, not victory .
Madhav says to Badi Rani, all this happened because Kumar made the mistake of falling in love. Badi Rani replies, love is not a mistake, but loving the enemy is a mistake, especially a naagin.
Maya says to Takshika, what was Anamika's fault, she just loved the prince. Takshika replies, yes she fell in love but the punishment is to be borne by all the naag yonis, and our precious maani went to the enemy. And now its time to get the naag mani back. Maya pledges that she will bring back the naag mani by using saam, daam, dand bhed (hook or crook) .
Maya comes to the palace and enters through the window, she wonders where the naag maani is hidden in this huge palace. She sees Madhav walking lost in thoughts, she follows him.
Madhav is restless in his room says that the curse is on our family, but manu is paying the price, this is not right. He will not let Manu's life be destroyed he will save her. Maya is spying on him overhears everything. Madhav calls in a servant and tells him to get Manu the message that tomorrow before the kal sarp yog pooja he wants to meet Manu, at the place they always meet.
Manu and madhav are both seen sad as they remember each other, Humari adhuri kahani plays in the background..Madhav says i wont let anything happen to Manu. Manu says she wont let anything happen to Madhav, as long as she is alove she wont let anything happen to him. (Sorry for repetition i am crying )
The servant comes to manu's house and gives her the message. Manu thinks aloud it must be something important, but how will she meet him. Badi Amma says now you know everything, and despite knowing everything will you go to meet him. Will go even after knowing the importance of this tradition, will you let your bua's sacrifice and generation of sacrifice go waste, she leaves the decision to Manu to answer Madhav's summon or your responsibility. Manu says, Badi amaa the decision was done when you told me the story of Devrakshika, i promise you that this tradition would never break, yours and Devsena bua's sacrifice wont be wasted. But allow me once to meet Madhav, so that i can make him understand that he shouldn't try to meet me anymore. If she didn't go there, he will come here he is very stubborn. He thinks that being a Devrakshika is a torture for me, he needs to understand that its my own wish. Manu continues that she will make him understand its better they stay away from each other. Our friendship was a dream and dreams no matter how beautiful have to be forgotten. Badi Amma allows her to go, but on the condition that she would never go to the palace. Manu promises that she would never set foot in the palace.
Badi Amma leaves and Manu says, Madhav this will be our last meeting. Everything will change after this, you will not be Madhav for me anymore, nor will I be your Manu.
Pre-cap : Badi Rani forbids Madhav to leave the palace before the pooja, and not to meet manu anymore. Madhav refuses and walks away. Maaya says now she knows what to do..
