We are on different pages on this Jahnavi. So better I take a leave from this. All the best with the thread. đđź
I am the one who feel utmost disgust about SHERGILL'S APPROACH TOWARDS pREET- iSHAN relationship. Shergill and Preet shares a formal relationship, isn't it? So there is alimit between two individuals always which they never should cross while in conversation. Shergill is yet to become a friend to Preet to ask her whats her weakness and gives his judgement without an ounce of hesitation. that shows his lack of manners , and I do not like people being that mannerless just to put forth their point. in a formal, professional kind relationship, thre is no room for personal opinions about relationships of each other and thas a big rule to maintain professional ethics. Shergill breaches that each time with his constant reference to ISHAN AND HOW pREET feels for him. None of his business honestly. So in no way his words are justified.
about the loop closure of yesterday's scene and the depth opf relationship between Preet and Rizwan, the writers and even me do not need an wannabe, half hbaked character sketch like Shergill. Who na bhi hota toh bhi Rizreet ki scene ka koi na koi beautiful significant role reversal hota hi,to fullfill that Rizwan giving his shield to Preet. those two characters are very much flawed but very attentively portryaed. the depth of that taveez scene was very brilliantly depicted and written. So I guess the writers can come up with another sheer piece of brilliance of to close the loop minus involvement of a shallow character like Shergill. I cant be all mesmerised hearing Preet's dialogues on Shergill's stupid judgemental comments. đsorry for my rant but I really find Shergill as a man of zero manners, ill groomed, narciist kind throwing his weight around. Obnoxious is the word for him and I would have liked to stay away from this kind of people who keeps on giving unnecessary remarks on my personal life on drop of a hat. When people forget their limit , they should be told to back off rather than being indulgent about it. No offence, just my pov.
@jahnavi, I got your point about Preet 's emotions being explored and few things forecasting rizreet future. But isnt that already known to us? We all know by now that her bubble is going to burst, her life will be shatttered knowing Rizwan's truth, from there it will be her journey, her quest to find out whats important for her. It will be about her ultimate choice, her realisation , her soul searching to be at peace with her husband's reality. In that journey, shergill has no significant role to play, its way too personal kind of a journey as per me, so all these blabberings of shergill not even is going to work as trigger for her. I still dont see her doubting ishan for once so much so is her blind faith. Shergill will be hell annoying by his shallowness to make her doubtful and that makes me mad. I wish they would have given shergill a shrap, thoughtful yet smaet sketch than this obnoxious wanna be kind. He comes across as one looser kind a guy speaking rubbish about other peopke's marital life. So his words just cant be the trigger for anything in rizreet ki story. Thats pure ibsilt to these two protagonists. I liked how you said it will be preet who will help rizwan to identify his real self, so simailarly I want Rizwan himself being the sole reason for preet to see his true identity. Not shergill please. Thats what I tried to say expressing my disgust.
No point getting all touchy about fictional characters. So lets just move on dear.
that dialogue was surely well put but the situation was bit messy? Isnt it? ab aise angry rant ke liye thanks na kaho yaar. Its embrassoing. I so wanna hear your rant too. đ who is here like the professional actually? Does Rizwan look like a khatarnaak padosi mulk ka spy? SDoes Aatif look like a proper trained terrorist? kitna faltu waqt hai uske paas. Aur Sana ka profession kya hai batao? Baba ke call centre ka customer care executive I suppose, who keeps on calling Rizwan talking about latest offers?Originally posted by: daydreamers
I liked it Payal đ in fact thanx for the rant.. U have covered all my points...
I didn't like jay from the beginning.. I mean he doesn't even seem like a spy to me...
And the loop closure.. Well I have used a wrong word there.. Thanx for pointing that out... đ I juz wanted to applaud for the particular dialogue which came up after the handing out of the taveej to preet... Beautifully portrayed... ( only for preet, not jay )
