So confused about what took place a while ago Mihika went to Ishitha's room to confront her about her decision. She closed the door behind and went to Ishitha who was lost in her thought.
"Ishu..."
"Did they go?"
"Yeah. But may I know the reason for your decision?"
Though reluctant Ishitha told Mihika everything about their conversation and how he wanted to be the innocent party after she express her decision.
Mihika was very angry with both Raman and Ishitha.She was angry with Raman for using Ishitha to be a good son to his family by getting done what he wants and at the same time with Ishitha for not telling the truth to everybody.
"Ishu why didn't you tell the truth to everyone? Eventhough you fought back with him you also did what he wants"
"I wanted to tell the truth Mihika. But after seeing his mother's innocent face I couldn't do that. But anyway now this is over so I'm happy"
"And will you still go to that company to work?" asked Mihika angrily.
"What are you asking Mihika? How can I leave the job for something like this? I don't really care about him. I'll continue my work"
Entering into the Bhalla house Raman quickly tried to escape to his room to get rid of the numerous questions by his parents. But Thoshi stopped him.
"Raman I need to talk to you"
"Maa there's nothing to talk now. You blackmailed me and took me there and see how she insulted us by rejecting the proposal as if she was the queen of the world. Who does she think she is. She rejected me and put me down. So what's there left to talk. Now please leave me alone" said Raman faking a hurt face and went to his room.
After he went Thoshi thought to herself "Raman you think you're smart but I'm much advanced than you. I'm your mother so I know you well. You for sure forced Ishitha to this decision but wait and watch how she becomes your wife very soon"
Eventhough Raman escaped from his mother's anger he felt guilty for putting Ishitha in such a situation. He knew he did wrong by putting the whole blame on her itself but he had no other option to reject this proposal. He knew well that Ishitha was a wonderful woman and no one else is ever suitable than her to be the DIL of their house and there's no mismatch between them at all.
After that he for once thought about the situation in which Ishitha would be right now due to his selfishness. So he thought that he would apologise to her tomorrow itself and thank her for rejecting the proposal for him.
In the morning Mrs. Bhalla was talking to Mrs. Iyer over the phone and soon cut it seeing Raman coming towards the dining table.
While serving Raman's breakfast Thoshi started her drama.
"Raman yesterday a lot happened in just one moment so now I want you to do something for our respect"
"Maa please don't talk about another girl please"
"No Raman I'm talking about Ishitha itself"
"Ishitha? What is left more to talk about her?"
"I don't want her to work in our company anymore. So please give her the resignation letter today itself. She insulted you a lot yesterday so she shouldn't work with you. When she's jobless she'll understand what is the end result of her own deeds" said Thoshi smiling inside but faking an angry face outside.
Raman was more than shocked to listen to her decision and soon said "Maa what are saying? How can I do that? She's one of the best I've got in the company. It would be a great loss to terminate her. Maa please don't bring these things in between our business"
"Why not? She insulted you,she insulted your parents. Are you saying we should be quiet? I won't let that happen. You do what I said if not I'll leave this house. It's my final decision" said Thoshi and went away smiling at the worried face of Raman.
At the same time in Iyer house Mrs. Iyer has started her drama.
"Ishu your not going to that company again. I know that he forced you to reject this proposal. I also know that he insulted you. So I'm telling you, you won't go there again"said amma making Ishitha shocked"
"Amma what are you saying? How can I leave the job like that. And that too for something like this. I can't let my professionalism down. Amma please try to understand. The company needs me now" saying that Ishitha went out of the house not waiting for her mother's reply.
Later in the office Raman was very worried about his mother's words and he couldn't stop himself from feeling more guilty about his own deeds. He called the receptionist and enquired about Ishitha to which he got the reply that she has arrived and is very busy with work as her juniors have done some mistakes in a contract.
Waiting for sometime he called Ishitha's secretary Sarika and asked her to inform Ishitha to come to his cabin soon.
"Miss Ishitha boss wants to meet you soon"
"Now what does he wasn't from me" muttered Ishitha to herself and said "Sarika I'm very busy now so I'll meet him later"
"But ma'am"
"Sarika I told you nuh. Please leave me alone" said Ishitha and then Sarika left from her cabin fearing about the reaction of Raman.
Raman waited for a long time but Ishitha didn't go to meet him. Raman was very angry by the time of 5 in the evening so he called Sarika again and asked her to send Ishitha soon as now it's time to leave home and that she won't be busy.
Ishitha knew that Raman would be waiting for her so soon as the clock struck 5 she started getting ready to leave the office as soon as possible. And then Sarika informed that Raman called her again to which Ishitha replied "Sarika now it's 5 I need to go home now. I can meet him tomorrow"
"But ma'am I'll get scolded from him nuh"
"Ok then inform his secretary and you too soon leave the office" said Ishitha and went away.
Sarika soon did as Ishitha said and left the office without getting caught to Raman. Raman was really angry with Ishitha for ignoring him but knew that he was at fault and not her.
Soon as Raman entered the house Mrs. Bhalla again started her drama.
"Raman did you terminate Ishitha?what did she say? Did she insult you again? "
"Maa can you please stop this. I said I can't do it"
"Why not? Then I'll leave this house.How can I stay in peace after such an insult. What kind of a mannerless girl she is. I surely think that she has something which she cannot tell her parents"
Raman got very angry with his mother's words so he shouted "Ishitha didn't do anything . I forced her to do so because I had no way of stopping this marraige fiasco of yours. At the same time I didn't want to hurt your'll. Ishitha didn't insult me but I did insult her which is the reason why she rejected the proposal".
Mrs. Bhalla was dancing inside now but faked an angry face and scolded Raman "Raman how can you do so. I selected Ishitha for you as she was a good girl but you, you insulted her as well as your own parents. You're a shame to me. Now I will definitely leave this house. For what am I staying her" saying this Thoshi started crying loudly and fell on the sofa.
"Maa please I'm sorry. But don't say like that. I'll do whatever you say but don't leave this house"
"No you won't do anything Raman. You showed me today that I'm no one to you"
"No maa please listen to me. Ok you tell me what should I do? "
"Ok you have to marry Ishitha and bring her to this house as your wife and DIL of this house"
Raman was really shocked to listen to this but agreed to his mother's decision which made Thoshi happy and she blessed him for a happy life to which Raman smiled at her and went to his room all worried what to do next.
