What an apt name - means "revolution" or "movement"

And played to perfection by this wonderful actor, Mishal Raheja (my first experience of him, really)

Caught on to this show rather late - am catching up on the earlier episodes only now

What a beautifully written character, this Viplav - so many layers, so many nuances

Have created this post, friends, to know your thoughts - would love to share mine too...have loads of them on how this character is unfolding into our living rooms and maybe our lives as well

With a lovely "shade of green" - Dhani in tow!

ohh god im nervous caz ive to talk about my current most fvt character on TV!!😆

Viplav Tripathy..😳there are few things u got to know about him first,, hes not at all larger than life types.. hes very very simple sweet n his agenda in life is jst like u n me.. in short hes quite relateable character but wat makes him different is the innocence he got n the pure heart hes being blessed..😳

I suppose he is one very different fictional character! Mature and childish, both at the very same time. He's somehow distinct from the regular soap guys, which is why I love him..

And the best part is -- his character growth.. 😳From an immature flamboyant viplov, now he's turned into a responsible and mature knight in shining armour types for his love which he himself has yet to explore about himself...😳

n ofcourse the Mishal touch in Viplov has made this character unfogettable,,!!

I ve seen him in Laagi,, n it feels these two being played by 2 different ppl.. I jst failed to find even a slight glimpse of Datta here in Vips,, Mish is that perfect... n this man definitely got the Pied piper charm in him.. somehow he stirred u up.. he really does..😳.. the variation Mishal has given to Viplov is commendable,,

i absolutely Adore Respect n Truely Admire him after playing VT,,,!!😳

I agree with you DocD,Viplav is a lovely character. He is certainly different then the "angry young man" that is usually featured in these shows. He is a character who is kind, considerate, fun, willing to put others above his own ego. Mishel has done a fantastic job. I have never seen him in a show before either. He brings wonderful nuances into this character. It is the small gestures, the expressions, that bring the character alive.

Looking forward to reading more of your views.

Hey lovely post dear!!!

First coming to Mishal,he is an actor par excellence,following him since Lovestory days...I fell for his intense character Akash then😉 n they was no turning back for me , later came DuttaBhav...watever role Mishal does he puts his cent percent,his gestures or expressions as a don or mischevious fun n caring Viplav...he brings the very character alive n you can well relate to it!!tats the beauty of a talented n a hardworking actor...hats off to him that he enacts any character so convincingly!! No words to say im so pleased to see him back..

Second as Viplav..I jus love him,very cute n a loving one...I have always watched serious brooding heros n viplav is quite a welcoming change..he is charming,naughty n yet so caring n giving...his love is unconditional,pure,forgiving n tats wat make him different from other male leads we see on tv..yet to see his passionate side when he will be completely in love with dhaani...

As a viewer I dont think any other actor would have done justice to viplav other than Mishal...when u watch him emote or express,his hand gestures,everything all ...it always feel real n true!! its tat perfect...tats how I see it!!!

hi doc.. lovely post. Yes undoubtedly Mishal is a fine actor.. his expressions are well disciplined, dialogue delivery,intonation and pronunciation is flawless.. and he puts life in the character he plays.. For me he will be the iconic Dutta bhau of Laagi..a don with a heart of gold.. who had no sense of humor ,hardly ever laughed or smiled..
viplav is vibrant and has a sense of humor that got the better of him in the beginning and he made a bad joke of himself.. but currently like you mentioned the layers of his personality are peeling.. slowly and steadily..
one great thing about Mishal is the actor ,attempts to give something new to the audiences.. and lastly he is a extremely committed to his work ,puts his all in his role..

Hello Doc D.

Very interesting idea. I love writing about Mishal and Viplav.

Viplav is a light in my life. He is cute , energetic , has a gr8 sense of humor. He loves his family and friends. He doesn't give up easily, he stands by The Right ..and by his friends even if they misbehave with him, sometimes he is short tembered, naughty and talkative. He isn't perfect ..he is human.

Mishal just stole my heart by acting like a common man. A biy next door. He is a super actor , coz there is nothing in Datta Bhau in Viplav. He makes them look different..which shoowcases his perfect acting skills.

Viplab's character sketch won't b complete right now cz I blv more is yet to come. Till now we have seen him as a pure mastikhor , carefree , unknown of his curse n abilities,he is innocent just like a child who doesn't think much before doing anything which made a bad impression about him when we met this guy.then we saw him saving Dhani again and again.his sense of right or wrong is far different from others in d society. He is unaware of d social norms and religion bt all he knows is humanity comes first. His way of seeing things is so amazing that it makes me fall for him every time. The way he treats elderly ppl is such a treat to watch. He is different from other heroes cz his ego never stopped him from doing good. Viplab , in one sentense a kind hearted selfeless man.loveee him.
Without mishal I don't think viplab could b d same as he is.so d actor behind d character must b mentioned.this is d first show of mishal I have started watching n then I couldn't help but going through d other serials online. Akash n dutta bhao is sooo different from viplab clearly indicate d versatility of this actor.
Thanks again dear.got another chance to praise my fav vipu n mishal.

Awesome post Doc ,Mishal is offcourse a very fine actor ever found and he pays the full justice to his acting,I personally feel he as he plays the character, the character gets even more enriched and majestical,agree with ur words on him.

I'm so agree with your words.. Viplav had so many things to do and his various shades transition from one mode to another...He is lively and effortless, that was a exceptional job by MR!!
