And played to perfection by this wonderful actor, Mishal Raheja (my first experience of him, really)
Caught on to this show rather late - am catching up on the earlier episodes only now
What a beautifully written character, this Viplav - so many layers, so many nuances
Have created this post, friends, to know your thoughts - would love to share mine too...have loads of them on how this character is unfolding into our living rooms and maybe our lives as well
With a lovely "shade of green" - Dhani in tow!
The floor is open for comments and critiques...

@Bold: completely agree, a unique character, contradicting himself in many ways, he was introduced as bratty, full of himself, carefree, insensitive and an egoistic person, and the next episode we get to see a contradicting side of him.

He was immature and insensitive enough to play a dirty prank on dhani, but sensible and sensitive enough to accept his mistake and apologize but did he regret or have remorse, NO. His apology came with indifference and attitude and yet he didn't understand why his apology was not accepted and gets annoyed. Initially I could not relate to him but with the proceedings I think I understand him.

He is a perfectly flawed person with his heart and mind at the right place. His actions may be impulsive, irrational leading to some uncomfortable consequences but his intentions are right at its place. Probably this is the premise based on which his character and the future track will proceed. I have absolutely no issues with his characterization. I don't like only when they make him weak and vulnerable because that's not the way he is supposed to be. But now he is back on track, hope the CVs maintain this.

For that matter i like the contradictions in dhani too, helpless yet fierce, vulnerable yet not weak. Her lack of trust and her fights with her inner demons. These contradictions makes them real. I am not for larger than life characters, when the characters have both the shades, they are more close to reality.

Hope I made sense, if not pls forgive😆

A hearfelt thanks to all of you for such a wonderful response to the post...
Each one of you has expressed your thoughts so beautifully on both Viplav and Mishal, including some lovely comments on Dhani as well.
Viplav's character and his portrayal is what has drawn me to the show...Dhani has been his perfect foil...and ViDha has what has helped me stick on through the turbulent times...
There's quite a bit I wish to express on this wonderful triad - hope it will be a befitting ode to the thoughts already expressed...
Will be back soon to do so...will start my sojourn with Viplav - what a well thought through name, for starters!⭐️👏
Keep the comments and critiques coming until then...reading them brings a smile to my face!😊
