As you said filing a patent in the US costs about 1lakh, still it is a big amount to a student ! I mean the burden of this loan make them scared but we have to take risk.

I thought people like to realize their ideas firstly, if you can illegal earn by using your idea then you could use this earning to file patent for your idea? just think

besides, I know it's hard but we can't expect parents to sponsor this.

I agree they should enable students to access patent loan, hope you do whatever to make it. It will help many students. I know it is not one or two days issue hope you success.

ideas are not patented.. its only processes... all of someones ideas came up stealing other ideas while they were growing up. Yes everyone does that.. there is hardly anything like original idea... i means hardly not that it can never happen... if there is something like productize the same and hten patent that it would be ok.. but ideas by themselves dont carry any copyright.

Thanks qwertyesque very much for posting this. Im confused very much what idea is. even we have words like real ideas, new ideas,... I am not convinced with what I saw much but like you said it is hard to find a original idea.

In my opinion, if ideas are patented, it is just away to claim right on your idea, it doesn't mean to show the world this is your idea. even it is not fair if someone can't use their ideas because someone else has patented it. I feel it like a race.
