Honestly this is tough...Picking one scene from a week as eventful as this one is not an easy feat. First things first- Kudos to the entire team of Jamai Raja for the current set of episodes because the whole Raghu Track is being played out wonderfully and the shows entertainment value has undoubtedly doubled.
Is Sid truly dead?
Is Raghu, Sid's doppelganger or is Raghu Mechanic truly Sid just playing everyone?
There are a lot of questions floating around and this week saw Raghu aka Sid create more confusion in the viewers mind than before. While there is a gut feeling that the man posing as Raghu is truly Sid, the fact that this is a Hindi Soap makes it difficult to ascertain the same.
Roshini's primary goal was to free DD from Sid's murder charges. With Raghu agreeing to help bring the truth out this was exactly what Roshini and Raghu did first. However their victory was short lives as Shabnam gets a court order that said DD had to stay in prison until it is proven that the man who has come back after 6 months is Siddarth Khurana.
The Court proceedings start and it's time for Raghu to prove that he is truly Sid (Shouldn't be a hard task because he truly is Sid, Isn't he?) While every scene that followed be it Raghu answering Krutika's questions to prove he is Sid or Raghu refusing to recognize the woman who until a few days ago he called 'Maayi' etc were highly entertaining it was the 'Mole Scene' which sealed the deal that stood out.
When all her game plan flops one after the other Shabnam makes one last attempt to prove that the man claiming himself to be Siddharth Khurana in reality is an imposter. She reveals to the court that Sid had tried to molest her in the past and that during the incident she had noticed 3 moles on Sid's back; which if present on the man claiming himself to be Sid will prove everything once and for all.
Raghu is asked to show the moles if he is truly Siddharth Khurana and when he does you can see the color drain off of Shabnam's face; because the 3 moles are present just as she described thus proving that Sid aka Jamai Raja is back. The scene was truly a sight for sore eyes.The judge declares Raghu as Siddharth Malhotra and DD is acquitted of all charges sealing Shabnam's fate or rather her DOOM'.
The scene stood out for the way it was written. It was not extra-ordinary but it wasn't ordinary either. It was dramatic but in the right quantity. Plus it definitely increased the whole Intrigue Factor' of the track as it makes you more than almost certain that this is truly Sid because there is simply no way we are buying the whole Sid's diary, Roshini's dairy angles from which he supposedly got to know about Sid in depth. So many things can't be a coincidence yet this being a hindi soap makes it impossible even if by 0.0001% to be completely certain.
All in all it has every ingredient that makes for a highly entertaining scene and thus makes it to our list of top 5 scenes this week.
