The point is I only see outrage when its a celebrity or a elitist but when those ministers spew hatred and intolerance among the masses by their speeches parties look at the other side. I don't know about other parties but the government of India needs to start acting soon and control their violent groups. It shows high level of negligence from their side which is not acceptable.

This. I completely agree. More than Aamir's statement it's these extremists actions which bother me the most. Because these people belong to a party that has been voted by the majority and brought into power, with so many expectations. Their negligence and delibrate ignorance towards such bull shit being spewed by their extremist activists is alarming. Simply condemning their statements is not just enough. I think Aamir's statement itself was loserish but that doesn't really alarm me, sure he does have an influence on people but doesn't have the power these political parties possess in general.

again by comparing india to pak, afghanistan etc cannot make it tolerant..it still remains intolerant..may be less intolerant than pak or afghanistan but it still is..accept the reality..stop saying saray jahan se acha hindustan hamara at everything..get out of delusion and let the guy have an opinion

That's exactly the point

I as a fan feel totally LET DOWN by Aamir's statement. Total idiotic and irresponsible on his part

But I as a civilized human being am also ASHAMED to see what BJP/SivSena/RSS is doing in the name of our 'nation's image.Is it not also the way you tarnish your country's image?

Are Bangladesh and Pakistan our new standard?????

BJP should remember people(including myself) voted for MODI for governance not for creating unrest..and in the name of GOD these god damn celebrities should use their grey cell before opening their mouth
