hey Rinki,she did say so...after Nimmi cleared everything, and then Ashantiya started her drama n Kushiya was begging her...that time Nimmi went to Riya n told her, this is what you wanted right, to make Kushiya beg infront of all...that is why you did all this, right ? so that time Riya told her, not to act so rude, and its all her (nimmi's) mistake that this drama is happening...no-one said that Kushiya can get away with anything...when u meet a illiterate person n an educated person, whom would you expect to read n write...but obviously the literate one, right ?Riya was earlier shown as a smart woman, so its natural for me as a viewer to expect her to be more smarter, but she got played so easily by the evil hag, despite her own dadi bua, warning her against that oldie...she was told to hold her head high, but one needs to do so, as per the situation, saying sorry just to diffuse a situation, isnt wrong...esp if she is dealing with family members...now u wud say they always say she isnt family...i agree that is totally wrong...but the way she doesnt know them, they are also taking time to warm up to her...as for holding her head high, humility is also taught from childhood, and one needs to learn that too...pride is good, but not at the wrong place...one needs to be a little humble too, when it comes to family...if you try to be too much proud n egoistic then it wont take long for the family to break, either the husband will have to leave his parent for such wife or take a divorce to stay with his own parents...most of the time, Riya shows her ego not her humility...Shivam also has ego and makes mistakes but at least shows his regret, but not her...take for instance the night when she shifted to his room, they fought, and she forbid him to sleep on his own bed...made him sleep on the floor...her own love n her now husband is sleeping on the floor on their first night together, so what if they fought...but forget asking him to come back to bed, she didnt even show a bit of remorse for that...i agree bt the protecting from sarla mission, but that is happening now...till now she was totally clueless...playing onto the trick of the evil woman, despite being smart and educated.bt forum siding with the lead...i meant the female lead...atleast that is what i have noticed across IF, that most fans side with the female lead...no matter what mistakes she do...even if she sacrifices her own husband for the greater world of the society, they applaud her...which i think is highly biased, cause that is wrong...the male lead is sacrificed, n always shown as wrong, just to make the female lead look right...even here the cv's are following the same theme...
My knowledge of d situation is Riya pointed out Nimmi bcz she blamed her for d mess n dat was before d whole thing got cleared..so riya wasn't aware of d actual reason..so dat was more of a defensive move...its a one hr long epi n I usually miss some parts of the episode so I might hv missed anything..dat is why bothered to ask u first bt as "@BakeBeans said.. I agree riya cud hv controlled d situation at dat point when khushiya tuk d "prashyatap " on herself by saying she dint feel she was at fault bt if an apology cud stop khushiya from pouring water in herself she apologize
I believe education makes one more liberated n heterodox n practically speaking to expect riya to suddenly mould herself as per her in laws ll nt b just..bt still she is trying to fill dat gap..whn she had ordered for a washing machine n her family dint allow her she very calmly put her point forward n she was d one who required it d most as managing house work n office was difficult bt she abided by dere order without creating a ruckus..she is definitely adjusting wid everyone
No matter how much smart she is, she needs time to understand everyone..she cannot take on anyone in d family on d basis of what one feels n advises her unless she witnesses something herself..she cudnt understand shanti bcz shanti very cleverly manipulated everyone surrounding her..she gave her no reason to doubt bt now she is coming into action
I don't know what humility r v talking abt...d same humility dat khushiya showed n dat reduced her to merely a puppet or let raghav remain in dark or dat humility dat allowed sarla to take advantage of d situation for her personal gain at d cost of her children?? Honestly to think a daughter in law will bow down infront of her in laws no matter how wrong de r is very regressive thing...Riya has kept her self respect intact by not following dere so called system bt hasn't crossed d line to b called an egoist or an arrogant lady in my opinion
Regarding forum ppl supporting riya is concerned, I mentioned before dat ppl think differently..what I say u may nt agree n vice versa..it's OK dere ll always b difference of opinions
