Amit Paul to share dais with Mr Big

Shillong lad and singing sensation Amit Paul will share the dais along side world acclaimed American rock band, Mr Big at the Festival of Rock - Shillong to be held on October 27 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Complex, Polo here.Amit Paul is also expected to join the legendary singer in a duet of probably two numbers - the super hits "To be with you" and "Wild World".
According to the organizers, the lead singer of the band Eric Martin said he can't wait to be in Shillong after his good friend, CJ Snare of Firehouse told him that the band's Shillong gig in 2003 was one of their most memorable concert because the crowd in attendance never failed to amaze the band with their incredible memory of almost all their songs.
The band comprises Billy Sheehan, Pat Torpey Paul Gilbert and Eric.
The organised further informed that Eric happily agreed to share the stage with Amit Paul.
An experienced band from Guwahati, Moonwind will also perform at the opening of the show.
This will be the band's first-ever tour to India and has chosen Shillong, the unacknowledged yet known music capital of the country, to belt his numerous hit songs.
