Hi Everyone,
Am here with a new Two Shot which I wrote on a special request from Ashii and meri pyaari si Immature Brats Party š. This is my interpretation of 'Bol Na Halke Halke'. I know, I know..., a few parts of ASYA is sacred stuff and we shouldn't meddle with it. But I couldn't say no to them. So here I am with my version. Hope it will be liked and that I am not getting killed for writing it in my style š
As always, am extremely scared before I post any new chapter. Please don't be too harsh guys and please don't bash me for messing up.

Chapter 1
Dilshaad had been frantically pacing the length of the living room when finally she saw the door to her house open. She saw Asad and Zoya taking small uncertain steps in and avoiding any eye contact with her. Instantly she knew something was wrong. She noticed their entwined fingers and her eyes widened and her mouth fell open. Walking towards them she shot one question after the other.
"Asad! Kahan reh gai the tum dono? Pata hai kitni fikr ho rahi thi mujhe tum dono ki? Puri raat... Puri raat mein ek kone see dusre kone tak chakkar lagati rahi. Phone bhi nahi lag raha tha... Kahan reh gai the Asad? Bolo bhi kuch..."
"Ammi. ...Ammi, Mein aur Zoya nikah karna chahte hain... Jald se jald."
As he said that, Dilshaad's heart stopped beating and then hammered erratically. Dilshaad was shocked beyond belief that her son who always ran away from the mere suggestion of nikah was now openly asking to get married. In her haste she failed to notice the disheveled state the two were in. "Nikah! Nikah koi bachon ka khel nahi ki achanak tum aao aur bolo ki tumhe Zoya se Nikah karna hai aur vo ho jaye..." She realized that he took Zoya's name, the same girl he couldn't stand and had been finding excuses to send away and a girl he despised. "Zoya se? Tum theek toh ho naa Asad? Ya phir ye koi mazaak hai? Kya tum bhool rahey ho ki ye vahi ladki hai, vahi mehman hai jise tum khud iss ghar mein rehne dena nahi chahte the." She said absolutely confused at her son.
"Vo pehle ki baat thi Ammi" Asad said both embarrassed and exasperated. Embarrassed as what his ammi said was true but his reasons for trying to send her away were very different from what Dilshaad was saying. And exasperated because he didn't like to repeat himself.
"Pehle ki baat? Pehle ki baat nahi ye sirf kal ki baat hai Asad. Agar mein bhooli nahi hoon, toh kal tak tumhe Zoya ek bahut hi badtameez ladki lagti thi. Phir achanak ek raat mein aisa kya hua hai jo tum..." As soon as the words tumbled out of her mouth, Dilshaad's eyes widened and she looked at them from head to toe and then back up. Looking at the two she didn't need to be Einstein to understand what brought this change in them. She looked from one to the other and none of them looked her in the eye. She could see how embarrassed they were for what may have happened. She looked at Zoya and saw how remorseful she looked, how embarrassed, how guilty and how disheveled she looked. Feeling disgusted with them she looked away not able to understand what she should say to them. Taking in a deep breath she looked at them and saw tears rolling down Zoya's cheeks.
She opened her mouth to say something but nothing came to mind that would sound appropriate. She looked away again and then heard muffled sobs. She knew it was Zoya and as much as the mother in her wanted to turn around and take her in her arms, she felt extremely let down by what they had done. She looked at them and saw how Zoya was holding onto Asad's hand with one of hers and her other hand clutching his arm almost hiding behind it. She noticed how she had leaned against Asad's arm, placing her forehead on it and her eyes closed, tears rolling down her cheeks. She saw Asad's hand move over as he placed his hand over Zoya's trying to comfort her. He looked towards her and his eyes clenched shut as he saw tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Ammi, aap samajh nahi rahi hain. Hum Nikah karna chahte hain. Aur ye koi ek pal mein liya gaya faisala nahi hai. Hum dono ne bahut soch samajh ke ye faisala kiya hai". Dilshaad didn't know what to say. She felt happy, angry and sad all at the same time. She looked at them again and could clearly see the love they had for each other. Yes it was a shock for her as until only yesterday all they expressed for each other was intolerance. But now, seeing them standing hand in hand, supporting each other and drawing strength from each other, she had no doubt that they were in love. But what their appearances gave away, she couldn't accept. She looked at them one more time and walked off. Both Asad and Zoya didn't fail to notice how let down Dilshaad had looked. Even if she hadn't said anything about it, they knew from the look in her eyes.
As soon as Dilshaad closed the door to her room, Zoya cried harder. She slumped onto the floor and buried her face in her palms. She felt extremely guilty to have caused pain to the woman who was like her Ammi. Watching her cry like that hurt Asad to no extent as this had been more of his fault than hers. He had known about his growing fondness for Zoya for a long time, but had always feigned otherwise. He kneeled beside her and looking around, reluctantly placed a hand on her shoulder to comfort her. He too could feel his eyes pricking with tears but knew he had to stay in control.
"Zoya please. Please stop crying. Mein hoon naa, mein Ammi see baat karonga. Vo zaroor maan jayengi. Aap please rona band kijiye". He wiped her tears and tried smiling to comfort her. Zoya shook her head in the negative and said "Phophi maan toh jayengi Mr. Khan but unki aankhon mein jo niraasha meine dekhi, vo...". Zoya closed her eyes letting fresh tears to roll out. Asad couldn't help himself, he couldn't see tears in her eyes. He never could have. Since the first time that he had seen her crying at the dargah, his heart had ached with hers, his eyes had felt most with hers. Without a second thought he pulled her up and wrapped his arms around her, taking her in a gentle hug. Placing her hands on his chest, Zoya too let him hold her, the smell of his cologne soothing her, pulling her to him, the way it had last night. She felt his lips pressing tender kisses on her temple telling her that all wil be OK that he will make everything work for them. She smiled at how in one night he had changed so much but then realized that the rude and cold behavior that he had towards her had always been a facade to hide his true feelings, feelings that he had openly expressed last night.
She felt her heart picking up pace again as the images of last night crossed her mind. Her cheeks felt flushed and she could feel her body reacting to his closeness again. Opening her eyes she stepped back, first looking at him lovingly and then looking around, telling him indirectly about where they were standing. Asad understood her concern and let her step away but held onto her hand. They looked towards Dilshaad's room that was still shut and then looked at each other with the same feeling of guilt, guilty as they both had hurt the one person that was most important in their lives. Looking at her Asad spoke "Aap fresh ho jaye phir hum Ammi se baat karenge. Tab tak unka gussa bhi thora thanda ho jayega".
Asad led her to her room. Opening the door he ushered her in and stood at the threshold looking at her still holding hands with her. Both had a lot of fear about what Dilshaad would say. They both knew that even if they hadn't said anything out loud, Dilshaad knew what had transpired between them. His thumbs caressing the backs of her hands he said " I promise mein sab theek kar doonga. Ammi maan jayengi. Aur... Aur jo unke Mann mein shikva hai, vo bhi mein door kar doonga". Hearing his comforting words, Zoya felt a little hope building within, which promised her that her Phophi would once again look at her lovingly and shower her with love. "Mr.Kahn. Phophi maan jayengi naa... Ek Ammi ka pyaar kaisa hota hai, iska ehsaas mujhe Phophi se Milne ke baad hua hai... Mein unhe khona nahi chahti... Nahi chahti ki humari naadani, humari galti ki wajah se mein unhe kho doon". As she said that she saw Asad's expression drop and he looked at her with disappointment in his eyes." Do you really feel that what we did... what happened between us... was a mistake?" Understanding what she'd said and how he felt hearing it, she shook her head in denial. "Kal raat jo kuch bhi hua...vo galti nahi thi Mr. Khan... vo humara pyaar tha... joki ek galat waqt pe, galat halaton mein bayan kiya humne... I didn't mean it like that Mr. Kh" but before she could complete her sentence Asad placed a finger to her lips. "I don't want you to call me Mr. Khan ever again" stepping closer he said "I want you to call me Asad... like last night". Zoya felt nervous under the intensity of his gaze and shook her head in agreement. Without another word being said between them Asad took slow and small steps backwards to his room. Their eyes locked onto each other. They didn't need words to express what their hearts felt. They had had a whole night, confessing their love to each other. All they wanted now was to be able to spend their lives together.
With a hint of smile on their faces, they both closed the door to their respective rooms. As if it was a choreographed dance, they both moved towards their beds and sat down, totally in sync with each other. They both leaned back and lay down remembering their night together. Asad remembered how he had turned around when they were at the gazebo and had seen her do the same. As he'd walked towards her, she too stood there waiting for him. Asad reached just about a step or two away from her and then heard her sing. Her voice, so melodious, so smooth and so inviting.
Zoya felt his eyes on her and had turned around only to see him do the same and then he walked towards her. She could feel the intensity in his eyes and she felt color rushing up to her cheeks. She could hear music in the background and as Asad came and stood just a couple steps away from her, she couldn't stop herself and sang along.
Asad remembered her moving closer to him and her hot breath fanning the side of his face and finally his ear, sending bolts of electricity through his body. The sensuality with which she had leaned into him and asked to be held in his arms had made him loose the little semblance of logic that he was holding onto. As if hypnotized by her singing Asad moved closer to her trying to close the gap between them but found her taking small steps away from him. This little unconscious move from her drawing him even closer. His mind and body wanting to touch her to be with her. Everything around them seemed to be telling them that this was it, that this is what their destiny was and that this is where they belong.
Asad extended his hand to hold her when she laughed and spun around and out of his reach, spinning around him, like he was the center of her world. The emotion that he felt watching her spin around himself was indescribable. His heart had soared with happiness watching her. A while later they stood there once again their backs to each other when again they felt the other move and there they stood, standing face to face again. As the music played in the background the two of them stepped closer with just a couple inches between their noses. Asad held onto her hands that were resting on his chest and a step at a time they moved in sync finally removing any distance between them.
In their state of intoxication they had openly confessed their true feelings for each other. The amount of love and desire that they felt forced them to take steps that they knew they wouldn't have taken otherwise. With barely any distance between them, Asad one last time looked at her lips and then back up into her eyes that held love for him. Not able to hold on to his soaring emotions any more, Asad leaned in and placed his lips over hers. The contact so soft so gentle that it actually felt like a feather against Zoya's lips.
As she felt his lips against hers, Zoya stopped moving and stood still and her eyes fluttered, closing at the sweet contact. She felt his lips in the softest touch she had ever felt against her skin. She felt him move back and she opened her eyes looking into pools of hot chocolate that looked so inviting and so irresistible. She saw his eyes flicker between her lips and her eyes asking for permission. Her eyes half closing with the desire for him she tilted her head back giving him the invitation that he was looking for. As soon as Asad got her approval, he leaned in for another kiss, but this time, his kiss wasn't gentle. It was hot and passionate like his eyes had always been. Zoya too found her hands traveling from his muscled chest to his hair, pulling him that much closer.
Soon their kiss displayed an urgency to touch more and to feel more. Their pent up emotions of the past many weeks taking control of their intoxicated minds pushed them into doing what they had never thought they would do. Asad picked Zoya up, bridal style, and took her into the house they had taken refuge in in this unexpected heavy shower. All that followed was a night that was a witness to them coming together as one. Their love winning over their rational minds joining them as one, physically and emotionally.
