Story takes a leap of 8 years, now survi is a grown up girl who is praying in the temple. kartik too has become an elderly businessman who reaches outside the same temple. Someone calls for survi & she turns around, surprised to see who is it. She tells that person that she wants to return to tai once for some unfinished work. She says that she doesn't want to return to her past but has no choice left. The person says that meeting Tai, going back to the past, would also mean another thing which is to meet kartik. Survi looks on hearing the name, saying that she isn't going to meet him. He asks what if she does. She says that she won't ever let him know that she is survi. He tells that 8 years is a long time and maybe he has changed. She says that time changes, but good natured and righteous man remains the same, and kartik is one such person. He asks how can she be so sure. She says that kartik himself made her believe it & she has been living with the same belief that kartik can't change at all, as that's formed the basis of their friendship. she remembers the blind faith he had promised he would have on her. she says that she has lived this relation through this belief only. she adds that he lives for others and feels their pain, oblivious to what kartik has become now. He says that he can never intentionally hurt anyone & he can be the reason of someone's smile, but no one's pain. He asks her that she went unannounced from his life and won't he be mad at that. Survi says that he might be very angry but for his happiness, she'll maintain the promise that she made to tai. Then she walks off the temple.

On the road, Kartik comes out of his car and is thronged by a angry mob. He walks away with a stern face. The police try and manage the agitated mob. They all are silenced, when kartik angrily asks them if they screamed enough or got scared now, as they were praising him yesterday & today they shout death slogans at him. He tells them to listen clearly, as their praises nor their protests, will affect him in any way. He says that this land is his & who gave them this permission to reside in this land, he himself, as they had promised that whenever he needs this land, they would vacate as per his one order. The mob is mum. Kartik goes on saying he has just one principle, either don't make a promise & if you do, then follow it to the end. He says that a promise for him, if his life and those who break it, don't even deserve his sympathy. He says that they'll pay the price for breaking their promise, as eight years back, he has stopped forgiving people who break their promises, hinting at survi. He says that he has court orders and even if he didn't have them, nobody can stop him. He gets up on the bulldozer & starts it, while they start shouting again. The police controls the mob, while he starts to break down the houses of the chawl. He then gets down & goes out through the crowd with his convoy.

As its raining heavily, Survi is returning home in the auto, she sadly recalls her moments with Kartik. At the same time, he too in his car, reminisces those moments &gets angry remembering her last letter. Survi comes right outside tai's residence and turns around to pay the auto driver, when kartik's convoy enters inside the mansion. She sees as he steps out and walks not knowing that survi is right behind him. Survi tries to get in but the guards stop her at the main door, telling that all are busy as there is a function inside. she says that she wishes to meet tai & gets upset.

Inside the residence, all eyes turn to kartik, who gets to mingling with the guests and socialising with them. Raghu comes & tells that Tai is in her room, very angry and upset. He goes up. In her room, tai is surrounded by her daughters and their grooms, hema's pyare mohan & bindu's a new guy. Hema tries to talk but tai shuts them saying that she doesn't wish to talk to anyone. Right then, kartik comes. The girls rush to him and say that Tai herself called them for the reception party but now saying that she won't go. Tai starts yelling that her anger is justified after the drama they pulled up. She chides hema, that for 8 years, she has been fooling her, saying that she has no relation with pyare mohan & hence she eloped away & got married to him, knowing that tai would never say yes to their marriage. Hema is nervous. Then tai turns to bindu & asks why did she have to elope to get married and that too with a person, who serves as the manager in their company. They remain silent. Tai says that they didn't have the belief that she would have gotten them suitable grooms. Bindu retaliates that she didn't have an option, as tai herself was always concerned of hema and never paid attention to her. Tai is surprised to hear this while Bindu asks what's her fault, if Hema kept rejecting everyone & would she have died a bachelorette because of her. She says that in her eyes, her hubby is a good man and she likes him as he listens to everything that she says so she doesn't care if tai is embarrassed or not as she always wanted a husband like him & if they are happy, then why can't she. Tai asks Kartik to shut her up or she'll bash her face. He comes near them, then tells tai, that he knows she is upset due to hema and bindu's marriage but asks her to think of their happiness also & not consider this act of love as their mistake. He says that wrong are those who don't realise the mistake that they've done & who give wounds and then hide and are sadistically happy when they see the wounded in pain. Tai gets that he is still frustrated against survi. He tells tai that both of his sisters have returned & it's their luck that they realize their mistakes so they aren't wrong. Tai comes to him & asks that he hasn't forgotten anything. Kartik says that he won't forget till he doesn't find survi back and punish her for her deed, and till he doesn't hear the sound of his pain through her throat. Tai & the children are tensed. She is amused inside thinking that he might try all that he wants but he won't find survi as she won't dare to meet him due to her promise. He asks her to leave it & get her mood right and attend the party. Tai says that she'll go only for his insistence, else she wouldn't have seen their faces even. She asks them all to come along. they all leave. He stays behind. Outside, survi tries to make the guards understand that she and Tai know each other and it's very urgent. But he isn't convinced. she asks for tai's phone number atleast as she has the old one. Still he ignores her & welcomes other incoming guests. She continues pleading. She thinks that even if she goes in, none will recognise her & she might have a chance of meeting Tai herself. she tries to sneak in but the guard sees her & shoos her out. she requests again and she falls on the ground. Another guard comes & asks him not to be so rude. She begs this guard that she needs to talk to tai hence make her talk atleast if he can't let her enter. This guard agrees and calls the landline. kartik picks the phone and the guard gives the phone to survi. But before he can talk, tai comes & takes the phone, asking him to talk with the guests. Tai is stunned when survi introduces herself. An angry tai asks how dare she come near the house and asks if she forgot the promise that she made. She asks her to get lost. Survi begs tai to listen atleast, because she is in deep trouble as srikant's condition is very bad & she needs 50000 for his operation. Tai irks hearing this & tells survi not to do any drama and asks her not to even think of blackmailing her, as if she gets angry, then kartik will have to pay the price. She cuts the call, while survi continues to beg. Tai is nervous thinking she turned up after 8 years. On the other hand, survi is distraughtly leaves. She remembers how srikant's treatment for cancer has been paused due to lack of money and then tai's behaviour. She also remembers advises of people, asking why is she borrowing for a dying man, as death is inevitable due to cancer. She thuds at the bus stop, in rain. She gets nostalgic as she remembers the earrings & the context kartik had given them in, being completely wet in rain. Just then, a car comes along with an ambulance following it. The car stops a suddenly & a person comes out bleeding from the car. The episode ends on survi & that person's faces.

Precap: Tai comes out of the car & confronts survi who watches her with mixed expression. In the house, Survi is praying when someone calls out her name, startling her. At the bar, kartik is shocked to see the same earrings on survi's ears but not able to see the face.
