SLB could have repeated Devdas cast for Baijaro Mastani

😳 was just thinking that SRK could have played Baijaro very well. Madhuri as Kashibai and Aish as Mastani. SLB could have followed up Devdas quickly and repeated the same cast. Would it to be repetitive? Please share your thoughts. 😉

No way! They are all looking older n not suitable for the roles. I heard in interview Salman said he was even did first look for bajirao but then things were changed n aish was kashi bai I think.

Ranveer I looking convincing as bajirao but if hrithik had done he would have pulled it too.

he could have but its something he never wanted... SLB said also and recently aish has been quoted to say the same thing... he was only going to have Ash as mastani if salman was playing bajirao... they were his first choices and if he couldn't have 1 of them in it, he wasn't going to take the other either.

I think the current cast works fine

Ranveer was the only one that would give up such a huge bulk of dates. Usually when you do a SLB film, you can't commit to other projects. I remember Ajay, SRK, Hrithik were all choices when Salman and him had a falling out, but they didn't want to go bald.

So hoenstly, I think it's nice that BM landed into Veer's destiny. He seems fully in character.

I do admit that I would have loved to see Aish-Rani as Mastani and Kashibai--that dynamic still seems interesting to me.
