Prisoner of War - We have read heart wrenching and horrorify stories about POWs.

World war II saw the plight of the jews in the Nazi camps in Germany, Russia and Poland. There is story after and story that breaks your heart! (If you ever get to visit Washington D.C, Please visit the holocaust Museum)

During the vietnam war of the 70's, so many soldiers from the U.S were reported MIA no one knows about them. No one know whether they are alive till this day..

when i saw the scene where Lt. Abhimanyu is taken prisoner it did hit home the fact that there are people like that who are POWs who have never see their country once they were taken.

Here is my question, How much did the POW concept affect you?!

Good question. Very good topic.

Well, lets see. I have to be honest, the POW factor in the serial did not affect me much because I already know the fact that his role as a POW is short-lived and that before the week ends he will be back in India safe and sound!!!

But the POW concept in real life is just heart-wrenching!! Even thinking about it clouds my heart 😕 !!!

Very nice topic di.

As per as the serial is concered we all know that he will be out from there in 24 hrs for sure.

in real life that is really sad but i always go with positive side. to me its inspiring. it motivates to do good deeds nad help ppl so that their scarifices do not waste. i ahve collected many funds in schools for the families of POW...but it really flips my heart when i think abut it...especially holocoust.
