prem ratan dhan payo will finish around 180-190 crores at best scenario... Lolll Salman next movie Sultan coming next year... I don't expect that movie will breaks PK record... Happy New Year still holding the biggest opening day... SRK had the biggest opening day... Aamir Khan biggest grossing of all time with Pk... SALLU has most 100 crores hahahah... I am not hating Salman but his fan were saying that Salman is the best by far... Never... I read also that someone write Hrithik bigger star than Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan hahahah... Wow what a thinkin...Hrithik is one of the best actor that we have but never compare to Aamir Khan and SRK... Those are the biggest star of India by far... I don't think Salman is more biggest star than Aamir Khan... I love Salman and Hrithik but Aamir Khan is taking their place for me...

Its sad when the fans of the supposedly biggest star of India have to wait for the release of the supposedly smaller star's movie to justify's their superstar's movie...why?? Isn't Salman the greatest and Shahrukh at the 3rd or 4th number in the hierarchy...so why wait for 18th Dec...PRDP is a bad movie...it will underperform...How will the debacle of Dilwale justify that or raise Salman's status in the eyes of the people?? Why not wait for Eid 2016 and wait for Sultan to break all records...that is what the fans of the biggest superstars should do...shouldn't they?? Shouldn't Salman's competition should be with himself only given that he is the number one star??

Salman already surpassed SRK with Bajrangi Bhaijaan beating CE by a huge margin, and that will end up as the top grosser of the year.

And yeah one thing I agree with you, Lafunga's thread about Hrithik being a bigger star than Aamir and SRK made me laugh too 😆

Starring top actor Salman Khan, the film scores the biggest Bollywood opening of all time in India and the U.K., while landing in the top 10 chart in North America.

Bollywood release Prem Ratan Dhan Payo(I Received A Treasure Called Love) smashed a number of records in its debut in India and abroad for Fox International Productions and Fox Star Studios.

The film, starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor, is directed by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by the veteran Rajshri Productions banner, founded by his father Tarachand Barjatya.

Prem Ratan opened on Nov. 19, a day after the Diwali festival to cash in on the four day holiday weekend, which resulted in a $31 million worldwide haul from 4,801 screens in seven markets.

As one of India's most bankable stars, Khan's pulling power saw the film recording the biggest opening weekend of all time for a Bollywood title in the U.K. earning $1.5 million. In the U.S. it received the biggest ever release for a Hindi film opening on 284 screens and collected $2.4 million, landing at the ninth spot. The title is considered among the four top Bollywood openers in the U.S.

In India, the film smashed the record for the biggest Bollywood opening of all time taking $27 million over the four day festive weekend. This overshadowed previous record holder Happy New Year, starring actor Shah Rukh Khan, which collected $17.9 million when it opened during the Diwali weekend last year.

The prime Diwali release window didn't see any major competition for the film in terms of either Bollywood or Hollywood releases. Sony will open James Bond title Spectre here on Nov. 20.

"With the exception of a couple of genuinely exciting sequences, director-writer Sooraj Barjatya's latest syrupy extravaganza Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a highly predictable effort," THR said in its review. "That won't stop fans of the film's star, Salman Khan, from queuing in droves."

Khan and Barjatya's association dates back to the director's 1989 breakout Maine Pyar Kiya (I Have Loved) which catapulted the then newcomer actor into super stardom. The duo teamed again up for one of Bollywood's biggest hits, 1994's Hum Aapke Hai Koun (Who Am I To You).

Khan, 49, has delivered back to back hits following his previous record breaking blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which opened in July released by Eros International and is estimated to have collected over $75 million worldwide.

It wasn't that bad as wat people are saying. Yes that's true its not everyone fav genre.

Don't preach wat a superstar fans should do. Wen u and ur other friends did the same spare some speech for them. Sending WA message & watching 7.45am show are damn cool? And wen a fan of srk watched the movie they boomed him wat "standard" like really? They started the mess by running threads so jawab toh 18th Dec ko milega.

Wen u r in the industry u need to compete to sustain ur spot. He did break records of BB at certain place. The movie may not score higher then BB but that does not mean it underperformed. The final verdict will yet to come.

Wen Salman is concern no one gives him the credit. During BB they said it was due to Harshali & nawab only. Why they can't simply accept it Salman was one of the main factor to pull the crowd and he did brilliant job with his role.
