I have missed some weeks of mamta in between and have been wondering what happened to Akshay's sister who was in love with Sid? did she die or go away somewhere? can some one help...? thanks

^^ sorry if it sounded like I was making it up ..but Sid said in the show that Masuma went abroad for her studies after the kidnapping incident with Krish.
