Diwali/DT Task- My Thoughts - Day 32 (12th Nov)

Well so the history of no real task and forced drama this season continues...

Mandana Vs Digi : So the whole saga of lets influence Digi/lets make her feel bad for hanging out and eating with certain people continues. Apart from Digi both sides have no-one who can and will cross over as of right now, although i have to say I like that when it then came to making someone from Team A the captain then they were quick to jump to making sure to influence Digi to vote with them...so now the confusion is that the statements such as Digi you are kid, and the other team influences you and that you should take your own stand etc which team is hindering her growth towards making her own decision? Even in the Dance Dilemma they ganged up on her to make her feel bad for doing exactly what the either team members were doing, which was to go and get the message across to Team B and come back with news that congratulation they have decided to not use Suyyesh...so why throw accusations at a girl?

Rimi Vs Silence : I dont get the claims that she should open her mouth to add something to the 'footage' etc... Throughout the episodes its quite clear that when she feels something about someone and/or their situation she doesn't hesitate to comment and reflect on it, which she always manages to do without bias...such as her talk to Rochelle about been seen as strong even without Keith and how that has showed a side of her to others, the fact that she can survive without him or whether its to Kishwar about how her, Suyyesh and Prince might get pushed to the side and feel alone as more contestants leave etc...the one thing she doesn't do is participate in the unnecessary drama created by others in the house just to give BB team the content for the day. She has stayed true to herself and the people she has become friends with...whether its making sure that others don't give her any ribbons which might save her from the nominations, to her not letting her team down by giving up in the rickshaw task.

Mandana+Rochelles Vs Food : I am sure in few episodes ago it was made quite clear that Prince AND Mandana were in charge of the kitchen so how is it that she has not been cooking food to her and Rochelle's liking? She is not one to stay silent on such matters or was she suggesting the Digi should make porridge two ways?

Mandana Vs Rishabh(Captain) : Also while talking about the food they brought up the matter of not having a strong Captain as well, and that its because Kishwar, Suyyesh and Prunce chose him...as if there wasn't a contest where two people of equal strength (Rishabh and Keith) battled it out and then the winner was decided, instead it was decided by Kishwar, Suyyesh and Prince alone? (I really need to come up with a group name for them since writing their names together every time is tiring lol... any suggestions? ). Its funny because just like in the rickshaw task where these two were talking negatively about Aman and the rest of the team, similarly they are bringing up Rishabh's incompetency as a Captain resulting in confusion about the food, even though all he does most of the time is hang around with these three (Aman, Mandana, Rochelle) and sides with them on everything, including who to vote for in the next captaincy task.

Mandana + Rochelle Vs People's personal style : In this case mostly the two guys on the 'other' team, such as Suyyesh and Prince. All I can think about is how desperate were the BB Team for footage in their search in the whole 24 hours recordings that they decided to choose this conversation about these two commenting on what people wear and whether it passes their stylistic aesthetic? and then of course the conversation comes full circle with them going back to the food complaint where despite never leaving the kitchen themselves they have to comment on other people's eating habits? so the topics of conversation between Mandana and Rochelle is as follows: The other group's food and fashion sense?

Mandana Vs Rimi : Well this is one sided, just like BB's relationship with Rimi 😆 A new thing we have seen take flight is Mandana mentioning Rimi behind her back and mocking her, despite Rimi never having said or done anything to her so far...this also includes belittling comments to Rimi's face too (Boring in the Diwali task)

Double Trouble Task : Despite BB trying to make Rishabh and Digi's past fight a thing in terms of conflicts, they have both managed to avoid that and it was sweet of Rishabh to choose her to go since she is the youngest, so far in the house people have only managed to make her feel bad for being the youngest and have used that as an excuse for her nominations, choosing Puneet was also due to his being quite upset, however picking Mandana might come back to bite him in the you know where since no one seems to be happy about it including her BF Rochelle and he never actually managed to find a reason for that selection. At the end of the matter all three were quite good and managed to come away with a victory for the whole house, with two of them correctly guessing that Puneet will definitely press the button. So good for everyone and their Diwali gifts :)

Diwali Task Selection: BB Team might think that by selecting the same teams again they are making it interesting but I think that if they actually mixed up the teams then it would have been interesting to see how contestant who don't get along deal with the dynamics of now having to work together and create real conflicts of opposing opinions and personalities rather then put everyone with a group where the dynamics have already been establish and and then they might get the much needed entertaining content they are trying to seek in this ever losing battle of keeping the show interesting, instead of the same old forced drama and fights.

Dance Dilemma - Rochelle Vs Team B : First of all this was so lame in terms of fighting, it didn't need to get dragged to such degree...whatever happened to the Diwali Spirit?

The unnecessary reaction was from both teams... Team B had the stance that logically if there is a boy's part in their section of the song then they will use Suyyesh as a prop and that the judges shouldn't judge from that part but instead from where the girl's part starts which will result in only Rimi being judged as per the task but their reasoning was rejected...whereas the other team was taking the stance that this was unfair, and that even if their song didn't have the boy's part in it, they won't allow it to happen. even if the matter had stayed until that point it would have been fine but as per usual this provided the day's content of extreme reactions to tiny matters due to all of it escalating into something bigger than the initial issue. People saying how rude Kishwar was..well I am sure after days of being swore at she has managed to pick up quite a lot of the local lingo...or she could have used the defence of 'mein apne aap ko bola'

What I dont understand is that even in the middle of this kichdi of a conversation/communication why did Rochelle start crying and then shouting, actually my real question is who was she addressing while looking at that camera...BB or the viewers? she definitely wasn't looking at Aman who was her own team member or at Prince, member of the opposing team... So was the reaction for the viewers or was the purpose of it all that the ones she feels troubled by heard her but then she wasn't looking at any of them?

Dance Dilemma - Rishabh's take : I actually felt sorry for him, as a Captain how petty will these fights get which he will have to try and solve? Although once again BB had to call the contestants to sort this out, I had hoped that Rishabh would be able to control the HMs better for such small stuff. It was definitely painful to watch him defend that his team wasn't a spoilsport in the Rickshaw and that they are not using the same tactics again to delay the game...well we cant say he didn't try to stand up for his team. Talking about Suyyesh's push to Rishabh...I agree he shouldn't have pushed him away and should have held his ground without touching him and if Rishabh wanted to then he should have gone and complained to BB, despite them having told him so many times now that they will not include a guy in Rimi's part but I guess the other team wanted a written confirmation or something and kept sending him back?

Diwali Tasks: Okay so the dancing task went as planned and as expected I guess...in the skit from Team A, I feel like they should have picked a different scenario, one that focused more on Prince because Rishabh's portrayal of him was more entertaining that whatever they were tying to accomplish with Rimi's part although don't forget that in judging they were trying to put the blame on Rimi herself for not providing them more, event though the real incident was more entertaining that their exaggerated version...I really liked the song skit because they went as far to throw shade on themselves too (Suyyesh being Kishwar's slave etc) which was refreshing...The judging was confusing were they or were they not supposed to give their opinion on each skit and then make a decision...if they weren't they what was Mandana doing...even going as far as to target someone's personality just for a task, to belittle them, good thing she did it to Rimi who doesn't get fazed by Salman's comments let alone anyone else's. But if they were supposed to give a detailed judging account and Mandana was on the right track then I would ask Rochelle why didn't she speak up about dissecting when her BF was doing it and only chose to speak during Prince's part, whatever happened to respecting the tasks? the respect the two people BB has chosen as judges too...Digi mentioned it to her too, i wonder how much trouble is Digi going to be in for speaking her mind?

BB's First Theft : So while everyone was enjoying themselves and trying to celebrate Diwali some people as in Miss I am always right and Mr age, experience and fairness decided it would be the perfect time to steal food that rightfully belonged to all the HMs and hide it...hmm shows people's nature huh?

Side note: this is definitely something I am sure will be regularly repeated, when are the people who are not speaking in hindi get called out on it? will BB wake up for enough time to see the constant ulangan of the rules? Or was this rule omitted this season?
