Hate it when men expect their wife to be like their mother!!

I simply dislike the fact when desi men in our society compares their wife with their mother or sisters. For example in the precap today when shivam says that his mom never let his dadi work in the house. I mean COME ON when will they realize that everyone is different. Just because your mom or sister did or knew all the work doesn't mean that your wife would do or know the same. I find it stupid for men to expect their wife to be the same as their mother. Your wife has her own individuality. If she isn't carrying out the same duties like your mother or sisters it doesn't mean she is any less than them. Give her some time you can't expect her to learn everything in one or two months. I'm saying this from my experience. I was married at a young age and didn't know much about cooking. On the other hand my mother-in-law and sis-in-laws were the experts in cooking and always received compliments regarding their cooking skills. Everytime something went wrong with my cooking my husband would start comparing me to them which I really hated. It's really hurtful and embarrassing when it's done in front of other family members especially in front of that person you're being compared to. I totally understand riya and how'd she feel after this". I hope shivam realizes his mistakes and try to understand riya a bit and create a new example for men in our society.

I don't like Shivam one bit! He is an even downgraded version of Raghva! He always treats his wife like shit and constantly humiliates her in front of everyone. He sits on a high horse and thinks that while he has a right to go to his office on time, Riya must finish house chores like his mom. What he fails to realize is that his mom is a perfect homemaker but doesn't need to go to work. Riya on the other hand has a job as demanding as his and deserves the same amount of rest and peace and support that HE expects for HIMSELF!!!

I was clapping with joy when Riya raised her voice and gave him a fitting reply today by saying - "When she was busy, why couldn't HE help his mother??!!"

I'm softening towards Khusiya now. She is not bad, just too weak and suppressed. I liked it when she tried to help Riya and especially when she scolded Nimmi saying she was the daughter of the house and needed to work in the house and help her bhabhi!

Shivam forgets that they are two completely different people, from two different generation. I understand you want to Riya to assimilate to the house, but that does not require to become exactly like your mother. If Shivam slightly wanted to change the course of his home, he wouldn't be asking Riya to do this. He knows if Riya is like his mom, then he can be like his dad. Which to me is totally wrong.

I seriously don't understand whether Shivam wanted a wife or a maid. I get it that a dil/wife should share in the household chores; but sharing is the key word here. Riya had a point as to why Shivam isn't sharing the house-work with her. On one hand, Riya is expected to hand in her salary from her job just like Shivam does to Shanti; and on top of that she is expected to slog in the house-hold chores. This is totally unfair. I can understand Shanti demanding such unfair stuff and Kausalya being blind; but Shivam who claims to love Riya doesn't care to offer a helping hand?!

I don't like Shivam's attitude at all. How he behave in this way with Riya.??

their excuse is that our mom has been doing it all her life and now its ur turn to take upon the responsibility .. The MIL's remember what their MIL's did to them and how they were treated .. yet they do the same ..

I just hate kaushaliya.. I was soo mad at her when she was trying shusssh riya up today when she was defending herself and her father 😡 I just dislike her expressions her words her actions and everything.
