In my POV, what is totally not acceptable and bringing down the whole story(or rather lack of a story 😉) is what they are doing with Manik and Nanadani both as individuals and Manan as a couple.
From the entrace of Manik it has been mostly Nanadani (Not saying Manik is perfect but his part has been handled well enough by Parth) that has been lacking with regards to how she has been behaving with Manik and her over all character when compared to S1,... but as of the last two days even Manik has started to be shown the same way.
Certain aspects of Manan relationship that has been such an integral part of them as a couple such as their great firendship, is being totally taken out of their equation and suddenly Aryaman is being shown the one who Nanadani can talk about Anything and everything.
All of a sudden Nanadani can't talk about Maddy's issues with Manik because he will get angry as if viewers should also develop amnesia and forget that Nandani was the only person who can handle Manik's anger any time any day and make him behave sensibly when things are too hyper like the current situation between Manik and Maddy.
Similarly earlier Manik didn't use to ignore Nanadani when he is with Fab5 while she is around and always included her in some way even if it is with just a smile or a private wink, and even asked for her input and opinion in his decisions regarding Fab5 issues. This was so clearly shown during Soha track while they were making that album and since then till the end of S1.
Seriously Maddy and Aryaman are like leaches stuck on Nandani and Manik and Manan as a couple, slowly sucking away the essence of these characters and what their relationship used to be like in S1.
A few random scenes of concern and care without maintaining consistency is not going to clean up this mess unless both Aryaman and Maddy are taken off Manan's backs and given their own stories,.. that does not have to take away bits and pieces of Manan substance to push the lame stories of these side characters.
Unless and until the current writers can pin down Nanadani and Maniks original characters and uphold the integrity of Manan, a few 'romance' or superficial dating scenes between Manan is not going to save this train wreck.
