Big Boss as a show in the beginning was more like a reality show for celebrities to show their daily life. It was also more stringent, with no make up, less clothes allowed and slightly like a survival show. So people can see celebrities doing house work and staying in a house all isolated and how this affects them and drives them mad.. That was a different concept.
But what we have now is so drastically different from that. It is all about the hype, fake drama, fights, showmances and made up sensational stories from day 1. It is no more about the mental strength to endure that place, isolated from the world, which can get pretty boring and that was one of the main hurdles for the contestants of early seasons.. of how to entertain THEMSELVES, not the audience... Although those seasons weren't as tightly packed with drama..but they were more genuine and whatever fights happened were or atleast seemed real and so were more engrossing. I wonder how many people feel that but I wish this show goes way down from what it is right now. The weirdest thing is the host and Big Boss are outrightly telling the contestants to do something entertaining.
