As per me the movie's music, storyline (all the things they changed and lack of humor unlike the original... which had a lot of humor... thanks to Bindu ji...) and the actress Athiya was too bad!!!
She doesn't even know the 'A' of acting... and her face is totally masculine... (no bashing but thats the truth)
The only thing I liked was Sooraj Pancholi a bit and Sharad kelkar a lottt!!!
He was awesome... absolutely amazing...
He was so good at his entry as Dheeraj Mathur... a caring brother with the hard outer cover of a fierce police officer screaming at his officers out of his love for his darling little sis... OMG... and he screamed at his dad too... before straightening himself immediately... ha ha ha... absolutely Cute!!! <3 <3 <3
And the way he acted to scold her along his wife Ruchi... too sweet!!!

The the sweet scene with Ruchi (Anita Hassanandini) when she pretends to have a labour pain...

"Baby baby... are u okay..."
"Are dad 8 mahine pregnant hai vo..."
"Mera baby aa raha hai... baby aa raha hai"
all his dialogues in that particular scene were adorable and i loved the scene the mosttt...

The night wear... ufff!!! <3 <3 <3
I always love Sharad Kelkar in black... and that black casual night avatar was too hot to ignore...

Another thing that i loved abt the movie was Sharad's clean shaven look and the casual look in the whole movie whenever he is out of his police uniform... i always love him more in the clean look rather than the stubble or beard...

He was so good while acting... a treat to watch!!!
The police uniform made him even hotter and i was giggling and drooling like crazy whenever i even got a glimpse of him... and my younger bro was passing me weird looks... he he he...

A doting elder brother...
An adorably loving hubby and an excited would be paa... (in the first half...)
A responsible and fierce police officer...
A sweet father in the second half...
A caring son in the whole movie...
A generous friend, philosoper and guide to the lovers...
A handsome hottie all over...

He played each and every role so smoothly and the way he transformed himself and moved in the different shoes to play his different roles for his family was commendable... He is one of a kind and has his own awesome swag and style... which i love to the core...
Thank u so muchhh director sahab and 'HERO' team that u gave sharad so much screen space and brought a little life to the film... even the reviews given by some websites etc said that Sharad was good in his performance but the leads were quite drab..

The action scenes were amazzzinggg...!!!!!
Be it his fast physical action during the Shimla scene or the shooting scene in the police station... or the screaming in the climax... each and every scene was so good...

The best was the Shimla scene... his attire in the warm clothes and glares was blazing hot... and be it the speeding up the jeep or coming from helicopter... all were superb!!

While the others were good... the bro-sis scenes were no less... though i think only he was the one who brought life to the scenes with Athiya... coz she always looked like a dumbo...

The teasing at the initial, then later on understanding their love and Sooraj even without Radha mouthing it, helping her out, supporting her during her break down, keeping her away from her dad's wrath by scolding her fakely so that his dad doesn't do the same or making Ranvijay's story, the emotional scenes, helping her and sooraj to stand on his leg by helping with the gym and all and make their bond stronger etc etc...
Each one was great, awesome, good, superb, wonderful... and i am short of adjectives to describe this man and his work...

P.S. - Oh he looked so handsome in the 'Yaadan Teriyaan' song... though he appeared there only for a second or two... but he stole the song...

According to me Sharad was the asli hero of the movie...and others were total zero...
And also in the tuxedo during Radha aka Athiya's dance performance... WOW!!!
In all the movie was awesome in all the places where Sharad appeared...
I watched the movie only coz Sharad was in it else it was okay okay...
If i am asked to give him ratings...
10/10 only to Sharad... and 4/10 to the story and actors...

I posted my review in the other thread you created Amreen, so won't post it again, but personally apart from Athiya I liked everyone. As I mentioned in my review, I couldn't imagine anyone else doing Sanjeev Kumar's iconic role, especially after seeing Sharad in it. Like the part you mentioned about "baby aa raha hai", Sharad was supposed to act really bad in that to show some realism and he did. And it was so believable!

Overall I liked the movie. Not sure why but it was good.

^ Vivan Bhatena was a surprise for me. To take on that type of a role was such a switch from his usual lover boy or arrogant roles. That stood out for me.

The others were okay and well in their roles, but I do agree that Sharad, Sooraj, and Aditya were kind of the highlights.

I liked how much of the music was used throughout. There were the regular song-and-dance sequences, but some of it was also used in the background or used to take the story forward like Yadaan Teriyaan was used to show 2 years pass by or Main Hoon Hero Tera's sad version was used when Sooraj revealed that he had kidnapped Radha.
